State of Florida is investigating 180,000 voters that are non-citizens. Do we need more proof that we need VOTER ID's in every state?

These "VOTERS" were around when GW Bush was elected with just 500 voters, in the 2000 election. What would the out come have been, if these 180,000 voters weren't allowed to vote?

Little does Hopscotch know Democrates only make up about 22% of all voters now!

I'm not a Democrat--My mind is not full of useless crap. I have heard that Democrats greatly out number the Republicans. Don't quote FOX news and expect it to be correct.

If I haven't told you already--"Republicans honestly live a different reality than the rest of the world. It's not their fault! They were taught that way. "Be kind to Dumb animals", as it goes or they might bite you. I ought to know, I was one, once. YOUR touch with reality is tenuous at best. You'll either learn better or you'll stay at home".

"You mean: As you became selfish or (Greedy)".

I was born and raised a Republican. Was in the "Young Republicans". Helped raise campaign monies for the Presidential race. As I left the nest and learned to fly and became a world traveler. I became embarrassed to call myself a Republican as I learned better.

Now I consider myself a "Recovering Republican". SORRY you ceased to learn when you got out of college (I kept on learning). "I'd ask for my money back in your case".

Your assumptions make about as much sense as your politics. I have probably traveled the world far more than you and all I saw was failed or failing socialist train wrecks like the crats are trying to force upon us.

You crats are a bunch of frigging idiots who have mush for brains ... the "useful idiots " of the commie days and you are too stupid to figure it out.

I am a member of NO party. Politicians are politicians. It's just that one group wants to commit national suicide a lot faster than the other.

You are right, I too, am a member of NO party. "Politicians are politicians." Both parties steal, only the Democrats just leave you something for another day. (Told to me personally by the "Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of United Artists", my mentor).

Not at all undecided. Investigating is an interesting term. It imply s nothing is proved and that this is just a suspicion. I expect that the real fraud is being done by the state of Florida in keeping legitimate voters off out of the polls.

You are entitled to your opion. My opinion is that requiring ID will reduce voting by non-citizens, disenfranchised fellons, and multiple votes by many other dishonest people.

The current attempt to remove illegal voters from the rolls is creating problems mostly because there are so many to be sorted through.
  • sbtbill Charles E 2012/05/14 22:45:26
    sbtbill
I'm not against reasonable ID like a drivers license, passport, state issued school ID, etc. I just don't think there should be special voter ID. In any case all ID can be faked.

How many proven cases of multiple votes by dishonest people exist? Appears to be a very small number compared to the mistakes made by the states with the new ID laws.
  • Charles E sbtbill 2012/05/15 05:21:57
    Charles E
I agree that reasonable ID laws should accept most government issued picture ID. Creating a new ID solely for voting is overkill.

As for the number of multiple voters, there are almost no documented studies since both major parties think they benefit in some areas and therefore do not object in others. Almost every attempt to investigate is met by personal attacks on the investigators unrelated to the reality - or lack of - election fraud.

The losers are honest elections and real voters.

Just my opinion, and not intended to criticize your reasonable opinion.

If drivers licenses are to be use for vote ID, they should indicate citizenship.

Most countries issue an "Interntional" drivers license good for a specified length of time that does not look anything like the normal license that a citizen would have.

    Got a point?
  • Wahvlvke Cliff 2012/05/15 12:26:44

It would be ... don't give non-citizens the same license as citizens and things would work ... better ... maybe.
  • Cliff Wahvlvke 2012/05/15 14:06:15
    Cliff
Do you realize what that would do to waiting lines at the DMV? I don't know why they could not have the same license with an indication of citizenship.
  • Wahvlvke Cliff 2012/05/15 15:46:34

The non-citizen version needs to be radically different ... for instance obama voters might not be able to read.

Florida requires a state issued ID to vote. No need for a voter ID.

"What would the out come have been, if these 180,000 voters weren't allowed to vote?"
What if their weren't road blocks ordered by Jeb Bush in black neighborhoods of Jacksonville, Coral Gables, Talahassee?
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/am...
What if felons (who weren't actually felons, some 96,000, happened to be black and/or registered Demorcrats) were able to vote?

I live here. My pastor was taken off the list. The actual felon was named Frank T. Jones and was dead, my pastor was named Frank L. Jones and was not a felon and very much alive. Maybe his name sounded too black, don't know his party affiliation.

Fraud was committed on both sides, as it keep on happening, as it has been happening for years, before all our grandfathers. Has there ever been a legit election?

I'm voting for the most legit person in 2012, RON PAUL!

We should demand our lawmakers either make it a law to show voter ID or make it a law no one needs to ever show an ID for anything if they don't want to !

Where I Live ( OHIO ) , I Must Show My Drivers License / My Address & Sign . I have had to do this forever ! Why shouldn't Everyone Else ?
If Yo Don't Drive ......... You Can Get A State I.D.Card At The B.M.V. ( just like a drivers license ) ..... Many States Will Pick You Up & Take You There ! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR " NOT " HAVING ONE !

PS * - It Is Illegal To Walk Down The Street Without I.D. In Most Places ( and you may be detained if you are " suspicious " .

You Need I.D. To Buy Beer , Ciggs. , A Car , Insurance , Get Married , Etc. , Etc.
