Michelle Obama seems like a very nice person. For that matter, so does Barack, in his own somewhat more distant way. None of that will make me vote for or against him. I always have voted for third parties, and always will. The fact that both of them seem like nice folks does not take away from serious questions about policy.

I have voted in every general election since 1964. I have NEVER voted Republican.
My favorite American presidents are: 1) Thomas Jefferson 2) Abraham Lincoln 3) Franklin Roosevelt 4) Bill Clinton 5) Harry Truman.
In the 2008 Democratic primaries I voted for Hillary Clinton.
In the 2008 general election I voted for Barack Obama.
In 2012 I intend to write in Hillary Clinton, because she is my favorite living politician. Although it's a symbolic vote. Obama will easily win my state without help from me. (Hillary won the 2008 California Democratic primary.)
