The chief justice the so call passed it should be taken. to the law review board, have his law licensing taken then put in jail for breaking the law!!!!! he does not have the power to change wording as he did.also does not habeas the power to make law and or make taxes,by our constitution and bill of rights. so Obamacare is against the law!!!!!!!!!!

If the Medicare and insurance fraud was stopped we would not need Obamacare.millions are stolen ever day.example: family member worked as the medical billing supervisor for company that owns many hospitals in Va. she saw the fraud and tried to stop it and was fired.there was millions a day being stolen. ever day just from this company.nothing will be done because they are paying money to the senators!!!!

Sorry but I am not an illegal in the US using the hospitals for free health care.Are you? It seems so because this is for those that will not work or those that are illegal.I have been paying the SS and Medicare tax for 43 years.I have had full benefit paid for 15 years. My money has gone to someone else for 15 years.So you do not pay anything for me, I probably pay for YOU!!!!! Well just like social security and Medicare made it's way through the rough, republican's bitch and whined about those back in the day's now we have them and it work's out find. The health care act isn't perfect, but I think over time it will work out just find. Some folks are for it, and some folks are against it just like they were with SS and Medicare, that's normal here in America.

I like what I've heard, so far, and believe it will help a lot of people. I hope President Obama will do an advertising campaign to explain in detail, how it will work. I'd like to know a little more about the tax penalty? That is a little vague.

The USA has finally joined other industrialized countries and has a national health care plan. Since we spend twice as much as other countries and have the hightest infant mortality rate, hell yes... it is time for a plan !!

Obama did not hit a home run but at least we are now on first base. No longer can the big insurers run the show and decide who to treat and who to leave to die. Those days are behind us.

The bill passed long ago, what happened yesterday was that the SCOTUS said,
this is a tax and it is ok to tax the people. Based on their decision, we can chalk up
ANOTHER lie for the community organizer, and we can expect more taxes on
our lifestyles and the finishing touches on the bankrupting and desecration of this
once great nation...at least until November 6 , 2012.

Man people forget - one of the reasons we are in this mess (other than the wars) is that bush gave us all money that he couldn't afford to do. Of course you have to pay a penalty if you don't buy healthcare insurance - everyone has to contribute and that's how it can be paid for.

here is about. Unfortunately , this administration has NOTHING to hang
their hat on and ANY discussion ultimately ends with Bush being the reason
for the mess we are in. That arguement is dead.
When your local hospital has to close because the government can't afford
to keep the doors open because more people are using the system than
are paying for it , you better hope that you or one of your loved ones are
not next in line. Economics and finance should be required subjects in
high school because those coming up with bear the brunt of this failed
socialist experiment. See you at the polls in November.

Already pay for the illegals medical.They go to the hospital for free medical because they do not ask questions.Then the hospital gets the money back from us the tax payers by writing the lose off on taxes!!!!!!!! approximately 650 million per quarter..we get rid of the illegals and the budget will balance!!!!!!!!

Who was it that said that elections have consequences? Who? That's right President Elect Obama on 11/5/2008. Chief Justice John Roberts said “It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices." Justice Roberts may have just done for the Romney campaign what it couldn’t do for itself. Energize the base and to remind the independent moderate voter that just because you don’t vote for a Liberal Progressive for President that, that in its self doesn’t make you a racist.

Nothing wakes you up faster than cool bucket of water in the face. I’m willing to bet that when the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America votes on 6th November 2012 that it won’t be for President Obama.

Justice Roberts was appointed during a Republican administration, but that doesn't mean he will. . . or should always make decisions based on his politics.

Supreme Court Justices are supposed to be impartial, since they are appointed, not chosen by a vote.

What is there to help when the government can tax you for inactivity. Wait until the dreaded right wingers take over, which they will. They will be able to make every citizen buy a gun, and if you don't they can tax you for not purchasing it. As a physician this is not good for the nation. If you want to fix health care, remove the biggest insurer and provider, which is government, until then you are left with the DMV diagnosing your problems, and we all know how efficient they are.
