SANFRANCISCO.CBSLOCAL.COM reports:
An upcoming trial in Sonoma County could determine the legality of buying and selling medicinal marijuana over the Internet. In April, Santa Rosa Police arrested 43-year-old Krish Singh after setting up a marijuana purchase from his Craigslist ad, which offered high-grade marijuana for $2,700 a pound, according to a report in the Press Democrat.

No. If it's medicinal, you shouldn't be buying or selling it on craigslist. If it's not, it's still federally illegal.

The only thing that needs to be sorted is keeping it away from minors other than that it would be fine.
Oh and I have anxiety / depression and my life sucks hard and weed boosts my mood. It's the people who use it irresponsibly that give it a bad image.

Problem is that minors already have a lot of access to sites they're not supposed to be able to access.

It would have to be regulated and age controled just like alcohol. I don't see how it could be controlled on the Internet. Of course this assumes that pot was legalized.

Because I think it should be legal, anyway, and you can buy alcohol on line. My only concern is keeping it away from underage kids, since it can make ppl very lazy, and they could wreck their lives before they even begin. I think also, there should be classes in school on the dangers of pot, given by people whose lives have been badly affected. Same with alcohol.

At least you can measure the alcohol in their blood but how do you measure impairment of a drug induced auto accident that kills your loved one?

Not according to the prosecuting attorney that tried the man that killed my brother and sister in law in December 3rd 2006. They say drug offenders that kill get off much more often than alcoholic drivers.

I know this but they have a harder time determining how much of what substance is in a persons blood when it is drugs.

It would be safer to buy it at a store in person. It should be purchasable from a 'pharmacy' .

I don't believe you can get Morphine online, which is legal as a perscription drug.

    Same thing with pot.

Pot is legal as a perscription drug in some locations.

So, yes, it is the same "thing". That is, the word "thing" means that Pot is in the same legal situation as Morphine in this case.

Through legitimate agencies with a legitimate prescription and controlled shipping, you CAN get morphine by internet as well as all usually prescribed drugs, how do you think VA, Military, Insurance operations and other legal prescribers can do refills and remote Rx work?

    "Refills" ?

Please explain exactly what a "refill" on a perscription drug is.

And how can a person acquire (legitimately, that is) a perscription drug without a perscription? And how can a person have a perscription without a doctor getting involved?
  • Rdtourist Playerazzi 2012/08/14 13:32:48
    Rdtourist
Of course a prescription is required to get the base fill, and it CAN be mailed or shipped quite easily, many times a physician CAN, if he has a hisotry to go on, write a scrip without seeing you, hopefully not a norm and that a standing inpatient or in office relationship exists. As far as a refill, ever read on a meidicine bottle, "refills x 3" or some such that may be noted on the label for chronic needs, such as insulin or heart meds, etc., some online'central pharmacies even have auto renewal and new Rx methods to do all these activities by internet/online means, even by telephone.
  • Playerazzi Rdtourist 2012/08/15 14:02:33
    Playerazzi
Uh, where I live, you CANNOT get a presciption without the doctor seeing you (unless it's a parent doing it for a minor), and we do not have anything like "refills x3". We use the original packaging with a little stick-on from the Pharmacy.

    No refills where I live.
  • Rdtourist Playerazzi 2012/08/21 14:28:15
    Rdtourist
Pretty much what I said, a history before writing an RX, that sort of means one has seen the man and developed that history, unless, of course, you are from California and use magic boards and ESP, exceedingly unlikely that refills are not permitted anywhere in the USA, especially in a walk in situation.

One can even send RX for narcotics by registered mail or freight with secured delivery anywhere in the USA as a matter of routine.
