Someone (on this site) who is supportive of the freedom to abortion asserts "abortion is none of the government's business". That SAME someone argues in support of taxpayer funding of abortion. Do these two opinions contradict each other?

It's definitely contradictory. If they don't want the government to tell them they can't have an abortion then they have no right to expect the government to force me to pay for the abortion.

And exactly whom does Viagra directly and intentionally kill?
    No one.

Whom does an abortion directly and intentionally kill?
An innocent, but inconvenient, 3rd person.

Don't get me wrong, do you realize how much easier my life would be if I could legally kill the people who inconvenienced me?
But I would NEVER expect others to pay for my bullets.

98% of abortions are done in the first trimester. There is no person. It can't think, feel or vote. No one has the right to force a woman to keep a baby she doesn't want or can't afford, or who will remind her every day for the rest of her life that she was raped, or impregnated by her letcherous stepfather. This abortion issue isn't about saving a baby, It's about contol and superiority....chauvanistic men finding joy in trying to control every aspect of the 'inferior' women's lives. Many of those hypocritical guys who are screaming the loudest sing a much different tune when their mistress becomes pregnant!!

    Hahahahaha!
You believe your very rare incintive for abortion justifies the slaughter of millions.
And you try to use your bigotry to support your belief.

Actually, Biblically-based Christianity teaches us to uphold and respect women, contrary to the secular-embracing world which has generally come to think of women as mere heartless, yet attractive instruments of hedonistic pleasure to satisfy irresistible, sexual lusts...Which sadly, but consequentially results many times in undesired pregnancies.

But, you of course are welcome to your own opinion.

You need to look at your Bible again. Uphold and respect women? Hardly. The Bible is nothing more than subverted chauvanism. In my humble opinion.

I read the Bible frequently and I have for years -- ever since I sincerely repented and prayed for forgiveness of my sexual sin and sexual exploitation of women.

Actually, and very seriously speaking, it was Almighty God in Christ, Scripture, prayer, repentance and forgiveness by God that delivered me from being a practicing fornicator, adulterer, and user of consenting, adult women.

And that is my humbling experience...Thank God for his disciplining of me and his saving grace in Christ.

    Not at all.
I TOTALLY believe in empowering and supporting women.
I just don't believe in using stupidity and barbarism as an excuse to slaughter millions of babies.
