Someone (on this site) who is supportive of the freedom to abortion asserts "abortion is none of the government's business". That SAME someone argues in support of taxpayer funding of abortion. Do these two opinions contradict each other?

It's definitely contradictory. If they don't want the government to tell them they can't have an abortion then they have no right to expect the government to force me to pay for the abortion.

How can you justify tax payers paying for something they see a selective life and death then? Something they find to be on the very same level as out right murder in fact!

but taxpayerrs are still forced to pay for the death penalty even if they disagree with it.

The death penalty is punishment for someone convicted in a court of government-ordained LAW that MUST be administered by the government itself...If administered in ANY WAY OUTSIDE of the government, it is ILLEGAL, and possibly punishable by the same penalty.

Thats beside the point-Since this issue is about the 100% INNOCENT unborn intead! That are being Selected to live or die in stead! This is the very same thing Hitler did himself at one time as well!

Can a citizen who considers war in which people are killed as murder abstain from paying taxes too?

Don't change the subject to a discussion of how an enemy is different from a fetus.

You brought up the question of tax paying justifications based on what someone believes in overall.

Murder?LMAO! Nice try on your part anyway! Since those wars are based on the FACT of a National Self Defense?Yet I believe anyone with a working brain understands that we never target innocent people to start with! So name any war that innocent people don't die by chance then?Since Defense in the main reason for Government in the first place! But Do you really know what the word fetus means?

Innocent is in the eye of the beholder.

Fact is in this country we all have to pay taxes and those taxes can be used for anything our representatives vote for.

This answer? -- "It would be discrimination if the abortion was medically necessary."

If so, who should be the FINAL authority to decide if it is medically necessary?
  • Live Fr... Howler 2012/05/09 22:36:53 (edited)
    Live Free Or Die
    I was clear.

But I don't think YOU should be the final authority on that decision, for sure.

*edit* I noticed you blocked me after demanding from my twice what I did not wish to share with you, my OPINION. I answered your stupid poll, which was only designed as an echo chamber, so that everyone could come on here and trash the women whose tax dollars (pennies mind you, from you) may have paid for a state subsidized abortion - which is only for THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER, RAPE and INCEST.

I support my tax dollars going to that, all the way. You and others who don't are in my opinion morally bankrupt.

I tried to be nice and keep that to myself, but since you chose to block me and then comment (hit and run), I owe you no more niceties.

    You can count on that.

    You weren't clear at all.

I asked a simple question and you refuse to answer it.

Then, you followed with sarcasm...I never claimed to be, or want to be the final authority.

At least I tried to have a conversation, but like most liberals, when you can't answer a question directly, or refuse to because you can't, you resort to sarcasm.

Guess, I will have to filter you out as well, so that you can't waste time on another poll.

EDIT: I blocked you because of your sarcasm and refusal to answer a plain, straightforward question which I asked in response to your reply.

Believe me, you never "owed" me anything...And neither do I "owe" you.

    The best to you.

Yes Liberals want taxpayers to pay for their abortions, but they don't want government involved. Maybe they should just start begging on the street every time they need one!
Liberals have sick and twisted minds, they think money grows on trees and the taxpayer tree is not connected to the governement.
