Someone (on this site) who is supportive of the freedom to abortion asserts "abortion is none of the government's business". That SAME someone argues in support of taxpayer funding of abortion. Do these two opinions contradict each other?

The Black Dagger 2012/05/08 14:46:11YES - the two opinions are DEFINITELY CONTRADICTORY to each other+23It's definitely contradictory. If they don't want the government to tell them they can't have an abortion then they have no right to expect the government to force me to pay for the abortion.

Don't change the subject to a discussion of how an enemy is different from a fetus.
You brought up the question of tax paying justifications based on what someone believes in overall.
Fact is in this country we all have to pay taxes and those taxes can be used for anything our representatives vote for.
We do not get to pick and choose what our taxes are used for.
Show me where you itemized for the government where your taxes were to be used.
Taxes are used for that, and many other things.
It comes down to what our reps vote to use taxes on.
If so, which one, and why?
If so, who should be the FINAL authority to decide if it is medically necessary?
But I don't think YOU should be the final authority on that decision, for sure.
*edit* I noticed you blocked me after demanding from my twice what I did not wish to share with you, my OPINION. I answered your stupid poll, which was only designed as an echo chamber, so that everyone could come on here and trash the women whose tax dollars (pennies mind you, from you) may have paid for a state subsidized abortion - which is only for THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER, RAPE and INCEST.
I support my tax dollars going to that, all the way. You and others who don't are in my opinion morally bankrupt.
I tried to be nice and keep that to myself, but since you chose to block me and then comment (hit and run), I owe you no more niceties.
You can count on that.
I asked a simple question and you refuse to answer it.
Then, you followed with sarcasm...I never claimed to be, or want to be the final authority.
At least I tried to have a conversation, but like most liberals, when you can't answer a question directly, or refuse to because you can't, you resort to sarcasm.
Guess, I will have to filter you out as well, so that you can't waste time on another poll.
EDIT: I blocked you because of your sarcasm and refusal to answer a plain, straightforward question which I asked in response to your reply.
Believe me, you never "owed" me anything...And neither do I "owe" you.
The best to you.
Liberals have sick and twisted minds, they think money grows on trees and the taxpayer tree is not connected to the governement.
I smell a liberal lol
