Do you know who “Joe the Plumber” is? He’s you and me and everybody else who’s trying to make it. He wants a better life and – yes – he wants to try and make some money – maybe even a lot of money. Do you see anything wrong with that? I sure don’t. Isn’t that what America is all about? If you and I don’t make it, maybe our kids will make it, but shouldn’t we make damn sure they have the chance?
If Joe try’s to buy a business he has to make payments. Payments have to come from “after tax” earnings. If Obama taxes Joe too much, he has no money to make payments and therefore can’t buy the business. End of Joe’s dream.
Our constitution guarantees us (or at least it used to) the right to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” How we purse that happiness is up to us – not the damn government and a bunch of worthless politicians who have never done a day’s work in their lives.
Yeah, that’s how I feel and by golly before you pull the lever, fill in the hole, or do whatever you do to vote where you are, think beyond the superficial and imagine what life in these United States would be like if someone takes away our right to succeed and make a lot of money. Goodbye incentives and goodbye jobs. From that day on I’ll take my fees under the table in the Bahamas and carry a big suitcase. I’ll pay my bills in cash and keep my money under the mattress. And you know what? … so will a lot of other people…

Can you think of one reason why you or I - or anyone else for that matter – shouldn’t “try” to make $250,000 a year?
Isn’t that part of the American Dream?
Don’t we have the right to keep what we slave, sacrifice, and struggle to earn?
Are we now to be told that we shouldn’t have our own business?
Will it be against the law to make enough to retire comfortably?
Will it be against the law to start a business – succeed – and hire people?
Who do you think Obama is going to give your money and mine to that is not some bunch of bums who don’t want to work and make it on their own?
Who the hell died and left the Federal government in charge of your, mine, and everybody else’s right to the pursuit of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?
