Good allagory. A company I once worked went from an individual bonus system to a "shared" bonus system where every employe in a store got a "share" of the "bonus pool". Inside a year sales were down by half because there was no incentive for the best sales people to excell.

The shared bonus plan was scraped and we returned to the old individual bonus and sales went back up, but not before the company took some significant damage in our market.

Yes, They are trying to set it up so they can take everything whenever they want. Need to cut them to the bone and re-personnel the whole thing. Let them work for a living and be taxed to death, see what it's like.

Too true, Memphis City Schools is the biggest money waster in town. They claim they want more money "fo the chilrens" , but then some broad in admin. orders a $10,000. desk and gets it. Doesn't make a lot of sense, new materials sitting in boxes unused but they want more, I think they hire all their failures.

Must have, then actually tried to justify it when the news guys showed up.

Our city council bought $ 600. ea chairs because they work so hard and didn't want the be uncomfortable. Some private entity finally paid for them just to shut everybody up about their $600.00 thrones.

Government on all levels is out of control on the spending.

One of the highest paid CEO's in town, surely you jest. I think he's about sucked us dry and is leaving now, no great loss since he really hasn't done anything except waste more money.

Next you'll be suggesting something radical like we demand the City Council give up their portrait, catering and travel budget just because they want to raise our taxes because the City is broke.

You couldn't fathom the greed and corruption in Memphis & Shelby County unless you saw them in action.
The inmates are running the asylum.

Yeah, I think so. Need to fire all levels of government and start over. 1 is bad enough, we have double. For every agency the City has the County has one too. City police, County Sheriffs, City taxes, county taxes, City schools, county schools which they are getting ready to merge so all the burbs are looking into getting their own so they don't fill theirs full of city trash. Totally stupid and redundant.
