It's not just the Democrats. The purveyors of big government, greedy tax codes, environmental and safety regulations and fines are at fault big time. Reagan, H. Bush and Clinton gave us NAFTA and GATT, as soon as U.S. industries could move off shore, they did, then they started importing their goods through our borders with Canada and Mexico tariff free along with the foreign competition.

Most of the foreign auto plants assembling products within our borders are operating their plants in the red to limit taxes. Most of their profits are made from their parts depots located between our borders and the host manufacturers. The host manufacturer offer their wares to a subsidiary depot at a low price to avoid taxation in their home country, jack up the prices at the depot, then their U.S. plant buys these parts at a premium that cuts into the U.S. plant's profit.

So because of NAFTA and GATT our country lost millions upon millions of jobs and trillions of dollars in tariffs at our duty free borders. But it's not just automobiles, manufacturing of heavy machinery, textiles, chemicals... everything we ever used to manufacture is being manufactured overseas now, not totally because of greedy manufactures wanting to reap in the wealth, but mainly from ridiculous trade treaties, overbearing regulations and tax codes slamming manufacturing at every turn of the process. Our government is our own worst enemy. Our politicians have sold us down the river.

As I've said many times....THEY ARE ALL TAKING US TO THE SAME PLACE!

That is NOT true. Who says we would have been in a great depression? The economy rolls like the stock market. IF he would have left it completely alone, there is more of a chance we would have bounced back and a lot faster. He did not do the right thing. The stimulus money is gone and there are fewer jobs now than when we spent the money and a lot of it is missing. Good grief!!
