I feel that individual should have Rights and it is the Duty of the State to protect those Indiividual Rights not infringe on them like Illinois and other states do today.

Chicago is very liberal, the suburbs are mostly moderate republicans, and another 30 minutes out into the rural area and you have a very red area.
