First off New Hampshire is not a Blue state if anything it is a Purple one. There are still more Republicans elected to state office than Democrats.

Although I live in Florida, we flip flop on the red/ blue thing. We have a lot of yankees that live down here mostly below the I-4 corridor. I don't mind that the yankees live here but when they come down here and want to make Florida like 'back home' then we have a problem. After the War of Northern Aggression, Florida was Democrat because Abe Lincoln was a Republican. Florida was Democrat until 1962 when they elected Claude Kirk as the first Republican Governor since the re-construction.

You are adaptable. You can converse with a church crowd as easily as with grad students

I'm in a state that WOULD be a red state, if it weren't for the county I live in, (which is the largest, unfortunately). :-( But the rurals do their best to help us out of it. And there's more of us in town all the time who think about things more traditionally.
