Michelle Obama has embarked on a skiing vacation with her daughters in Aspen, Colorado, according to the Aspen Daily News.

The first lady, who just returned last month from 17 days of relaxation in Hawaii, is skiing in Colorado on Presidents’ Day Weekend for the second year in a row. Last year she went to Vail.

Michelle’s decision to ski out West again instead of hitting slopes closer to Washington would seem an inopportune choice for a first lady who is helping her husband campaign on issues of “fairness.”

The Obama campaign has set itself up as the defender of the poor and the middle class against the “One Percent,” a theme which clashes with the image a first lady who is taking frequent and exclusive vacations.

wel the jokes on he then Colorado snow fall as been very poor this year we are not anywhere near the "enjoyable" snow pack for skiiers... guess she will have to sit it out in the lodge...

People are lsoing their jobs, their homes, livelyhoods..... and this bitch has had yet another fecking holiday paid for by the taxpayers yet again. This bitch is obscene! They've just come back from a 4 million dollar holiday recently! It beggers belief and the rest of us can hardly pay our bills, rents, food, let alone any sort of holiday!!!!!!!

I just read this and I was incensed! My grandson wants to snowboard and he had to actually get a job at the ski resort and teach snowboarding in order to be able to afford to snowboard!

Whose money does she think she's spending??? People have lost their jobs, their homes............and she has the audacity to take her kids and go skiing! Unbelievable!

Yeah, Michele..........tell it to someone who lives in a motel because your husband can't create jobs.

Obama will not be forced into anything, IMHO. The dye of his agenda is cast - he will not relent - he will proceed toward his goal of reshaping America into a communist country, unless we can get him out of our White House and replace him, as well as, most of Congress with sanity. We wish it was only $4 or 5 dollars. Ours is almost at £100 to fill up the tank. Put that into dollars and you will see, although you think it's expensive in the US, it's worse in the UK.
