Snopes no longer a trusted source?

No, don't trust snopes anymore.
Sure, snopes is always accurate, we can trust snopes.

In our Search for the truth department, we find what I have suspected on many occasions
.. I went to Snopes to check this out and they said it was false and there were no such dockets so I 'Googled' the Supreme Court, typed in 'Obama-Kagan,' and guess what? Yep you got it. Snopes lied. Everyone of those dockets are there.

So Here is
what I wrote Snopes:

Referencing the article about Elena Kagan and Barak Obama dockets: The information you have posted stating that there were no such cases as claimed and the examples you gave are blatantly false. I went directly to the Supreme Court's website, typed in Obama Kagan and
immediately came up with all of the dockets that the article made reference

I have long suspected that you really slant things but this was really shocking.

Thank You, I hope you will be much more truthful in the future.

That being
said, I'll bet you didn't know this.

Kagan was
representing Obama in all the petitions to prove his citizenship. Now she may help rule on them. Folks, this is really ugly.

Politics; and the beat goes on and on and on...

Once again the US Senate sold us out! Well,

someone figured out why Obama nominated Elana Kagan for the Supreme Court...

Pull up the Supreme Courts website, go to the docket and search for Obama.

She was the
Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural
born citizenship. He owed her big time. All of the requests were denied of course. They were never heard. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't
it? The American people mean nothing any longer. It's all about payback time
for those who compromised themselves to elect someone that really has no true right
to even be there.

Here are some
websites of the Supreme Court Docket:

You can look up some of these hearings and guess what??

Elana Kagan is the attorney representing Obama!!!

Check out
these examples:

Sure, snopes is always accurate, we can trust snopes.
So, I checked out your links to SC dockets. Guess what? Not one of them had a thing to do with birth certificates!

Yeah, you should always trust random chain emails sent to you.
  • lalouis... Zuggi 2010/12/02 18:47:40
That's why I asked the question. LOL
  • Zuggi lalouis... 2010/12/02 18:54:22
Even thought the enail the question is based off of is itself based on falsehoods? Is this a form of reverse psychology?
  • lalouis... Zuggi 2010/12/02 19:00:30
LOL, sweetie you just don't get it. I am asking a question. This email is going around... what do ya'll think is all I wanted to know.

I don't want to fight or argue, just a question.. do ya'll think snopes can be trusted or not.

We all get crazy emails all the time. I used to use snopes to verify stuff like that, now I'm not sure I trust snopes anymore.

    What do ya'll think?

Just ... tell me what you think about snopes.

It's easy. No trick question, just... a question.
  • Zuggi lalouis... 2010/12/02 19:02:16
Generally reliable, not 100%. Nothing is.

But the fact that the purported "takedown" of snopes you posted here is based itself on falsehoods is a pretty good sign that snopes is alright.

Seems reliable anything is few and far between. I suspected their being compromised...most since the last election. Our country is falling deeper into the abyss daily. God is our only refuge.

    No nonsense NanC...don't BS me!
Snopes has been proven to be unreliable with Liberal bias and funding. Same is true of fact check. It is curious that both are the only sources for 0-bot proving the 0bama birth certificate
is legitimate. Frankly, I like the one Daily Kos posted, prior to 0bama posting one on his
    website and each was different.....

    No, don't trust snopes anymore.
I believe that it started out being a pretty neutral and objective site but it has most definitely moved way to the left in recent months. I used to use the site all the time but hardly never use it anymore. I recently challenged them with an email concerning another matter where they didn't really know the answer but posted "probably false." I told them that they would appear more credible if they simply said "we don't know."

Maybe it is one of those things.. if it sounds too good to be true.... It would be nice to have a site that would debunk myths and just give facts.

    Thanks for your comment.
  • **Bessie** lalouis... 2010/12/02 18:52:25
Sure it would....but they would have to be unbiased. Hard to find unbiased these days!!!

    You're welcome!
