Slick Willy vs Obama Newt says Bill Clinton’s presence at Democratic convention will hurt Obama : So will Slick Willy tow the line for Obama or thrown Obama under the bus?
ARLINGTON, Va. — Having Bubba keynote the Democratic National Convention may not be such a good idea for Democrats, former Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich argued during a press conference Monday.
Gingrich said that former President Bill Clinton’s presence at the convention in September will just remind voters how liberal Obama’s presidency has been in comparison to the Clinton administration in the 1990s.
It was announced Monday that Clinton has been tapped by Obama to play a starring role at the convention, slated for September in Charlotte, N.C.
“There is a huge gap between Bill Clinton’s effort to take the Democratic Party to the center and Barack Obama’s effort to take it to the left,” Gingrich said at a northern Virginia television store. “So I think in a funny kind of way, having President Clinton at the Democratic convention may highlight the difference between the two choices.”
Gingrich said Clinton’s speech will “remind us that Obama really is a failed left-wing president with high unemployment, high deficits, huge regulatory policies and a very, very bad foreign policy.”
The Republican said voters will compare the current economic environment to the Clinton years of balanced budgets and welfare reform and all the “things that were done to make the economy better for the American people.”
“I think that will be a terrific opportunity for those of us who served with President Clinton to point out that Barack Obama is no Bill Clinton,” Gingrich said.

CUDDLY BUT STILL CRABBY 2012/07/31 17:09:52I think Slick Willy playing both side: comment if you like

The wheels on the bus go round and round. . .
. . .And Barack Obama goes thump, thump, thump.
Blowjob Billy don't tow anybody's line. They tow his.
The ONLY thing that'll modulate Clinton's behavior is the fact that the Hildebeast is in Obama's cabinet.
The five Republican senators who voted against conviction on both charges were John Chafee of Rhode Island, Susan Collins of Maine, Jim Jeffords of Vermont, Olympia Snowe of Maine, and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania. The additional five Republican senators who voted "not guilty" only on the perjury charge were Slade Gorton of Washington, Richard Shelby of Alabama, Ted Stevens of Alaska, John Warner of Virginia, and George Voinovich of Ohio
and then he will announce the new running mate...
Bill will give a great speech. He will look more Presidential than the real President, encouraging Democrats to do things he knows Obama won't be happy about. He will pretend to be very supportive of Obama, praising him for great accomplishments in areas where he knows Obama doesn't have any. Skating a fine line between optimism and satire, the audience will gradually figure out that Bill knows what a real President should do, and their nominee is not equipped to do it.
If I were in Bill's position, that's what I would do: Throw Obama under the bus, but make it look like Obama did it all by himself.

The Oklahoma Democratic Party has ruled that Randall Terry, the anti-abortion leader who captured 18 percent of the vote in the state’s Democratic primary on March 6, is not entitled to a delegate to the National Democratic Convention.
Wallace Collins, chairman of the state party, said that Mr. Terry failed to produce required paperwork and missed a March 15 deadline to identify a delegate. “Nobody in the state of Oklahoma said ‘I pledge to be a delegate for Randall Terry,’ ” said Mr. Collins, who sent Mr. Terry a certified letter on Friday.
One would think that some real competition would have shown up.
