Do you realize what the song is about. Who is being trampled? Who is cut down with the mighty swift sword? Then being portrayed as if it were a righteous cause. The Republic ended. All that remains is a union, by gun point I might add.

Many of the causes that brought about the War Between the States are current today.

An overpowering Federal Government.

If all goes Barry's way maybe sometime in the future someone will wright a song about this time period and have all the citizens to sing it at political functions and in churches to make Barry's way seem righteous.

Nobody on here can take your responses out of the remarks section except those behind the scenes. I don 't know how long you have been on SH, but if you had been here a couple of years ago when this site was bought out, you would have been introduced to EVERYbody on the staff behind the scenes and not the first person is a conservative. They are all admitted Democrats.

I have and I receive emails from others who have as well showing me what they have done. You really think this is doing us any good? Congress has all the proof it needs or ever needed to know full well we have a traitor, a foreigner, a usurper, a liar, a cheat, a thief, a Muslim sitting in the 0val 0ffice ignoring security briefings right and left - blowing money hand over fist - bowing and apologizing to every Muslim country he can find, and then bowing to others to make it look legit - and you think our letters are doing the first damned thing????
