Ever try alcohol instead?
(sarcasm)
even if we refuse the idea that our population is inherently detrimental to this planet then consider that every time a species has overgrown its habitat, nature takes over. what i mean is usually a disease appears that spreads like wildfire and reduces the population to something sustainable.
to many rights in the constituiton. what millons of abortions a year is not enough?
or birth control pills or sterilization. what else do you want? how many kids you want to limit? 1,2 etc how many is to many.
Agenda 21 is the program, Anytime "sustainable development " is heard ,that is Agenda 21
UNFPA Promotes Population Control at Rio+20 Conference
"New York, NY (CFAM/LifeNews) — The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is taking advantage of the upcoming Rio+20 conference in June to promote population control and reproductive rights as the backbone of sustainable development and poverty eradication."

Hard to listen to UN policies of restricting growth while they gorge themselves and breed.
Most believers in this stuff are chock full of ideas for others to do , not themselves.
Kind of like the Global warming crowd cruising around in private jets.
or u can just let nature control it like natural selection
