What on Earth gives the government the right to STEAL mine, or anyone else's, hard earned money?

I admit I should pay some taxes but if God only asks for 10% why should I pay the government more.

But currently with s few exceptions they pay more than their fair share. Buffet owes back taxes, he claim he pays less than his secy but he cheats for his taxes, he is a liar. Nobody is stopping him from paying more if he wants.

Why not just get rid of all the loop holes and work arounds and have everyone pay a "fair" tax on all goods and services they purchase? Just do away with income tax altogether and collect the fair tax instead.
