I Think the minimum IQ should be 90 or you don't vote. That would eliminate 90% of the Dummycrats.

That would eliminate most liberals. I have a better idea.. You should only be allowed to vote if you are, AND/OR have been a CONTRIBUTING member of THIS society. No Job = NO VOTE! No SSN = NO VOTE, on WELFARE = NO VOTE! Tell me again why it makes ANY sense that someone who has been on welfare for most of their adult life should have a say in ANYTHING or be given voting priveleges?

90 IQ, at least !! You should be able to pass a test that people take to become citizens. Non-contributing member of society=NO Vote, never worked=No vote. You don't contribute.....you don't get to vote.
How can they expect the right to vote when they don't know what is happening in our U.S.A.??
Was in Calif. DMV yesterday & they were encouraging people to get registered & vote. Some of these people can't ever read & fill out the forms at DMV
Everyone gets to go to school but if you don't learn anything....there you go....duh.

The early American Citizens only allowed landowners to vote. They had to male. This is changed to allow both sexes but otherwise I think it is a good idea!

I agree with all of the above, sans one change...NO JOB...case by case....if someone has worked all their life..then get laid off, due to no fault of their own, then by all means VOTE. Someone, say in thier 20s and NEVER have held a job....forget it!! They are part of the welfare generation, that probably started with their own parent(s)

As many have pointed out IQ doesn't isn't always accurate regarding common sense..What about a short test, You know they cannot take a 4 hour test at the polls...but what about a test that centers on our Gov't, the Branches, who controls what, etc.

Unfortunately IQ tests do not actually test intelligence, they just test your education.

There is this great book called "IQ: how psychology hijacked intelligence" its a good read if you are interested in in this type of stuff.
