Sorry, I must have missed the part in the Constitution that protects individuals rights to kill human beings. And what exactly are my "ignorant superstitions"? As far as I know, the life of a human being is real, not superstitious. If anyone is ignorant here it is you, for it is you who ignorantly assumes I am religious. And if you consider attempting to protect the lives of innocent human beings being killed intruding than I am very proud to be an intruder.
You're interpretation of the constitution is ridiculous. Slavery was legal in the country at the time the Constitution was written. So should no individual freedoms and protections apply to black people?
Why is it not possible to bestow recognition of rights to embryos or fetuses? Are they not living, developing human beings like women? A woman's right over her own body should not give her the right to have a human being killed.
A woman can have freedom AND have absolute dominion over her own body, but when she decides to have sex irresponsibly she is sacrificing her freedom under her own dominion of her body to accept the consequences of her irresponsible decision.
So protecting a living human being's life is slavery? I don't see the logic in that. There's nothing slavish about taking away a woman's right to have her child killed when the woman willfully chose herself (in the majority of cases) to have sex irresponsibly and at the risk of becoming pregnant.
A human being's individual rights shouldn't precede another human being's life. I'm not anti-choice, I'm anti-murder. And of course childbirth hurts, but women and their partners should think about that before choosing to have sex irresponsibly and potentially conceiving a child. Childbirth is a fact of life, not torture.
Never understood this in the first place.....The way I see it, there seems to be a specific group that is obsessed with governing women and what goes on between them and their doctor, and the majority seemed to be men. Again never understood this.
I know you are discussing abortion..but what if a woman wants to have a doctor kill their child (already born) or their parents? I'm also against late term abortion, unless the baby is dead, dying, severely deformed, will die at birth or its for the life of the mother.
Now with that being said...the government needs to stay out of my business. If I want to have an early term abortion...my choice..its alive, but it doesn't even look like a baby yet and cannot possibly survive outside my body. No one has any business forcing me to carry a pregnancy I don't want. If I want birth control...my choice. If I want to be sterilized...again my choice. If I have become mutilated by a fire or accident or attack..and my quality of life is very low, if I want the doctor to put me out of my misery..if I want to put myself out of my misery...my choice.
However...and people will probably disagree with me for this..if I am on welfare or a drug addict or a child killer, then yes, I think the government needs to step in and sterilize me.
If I procrastinate..and then decide in my late second or third trimester and I and the baby are healthy..then no, I don't think I have the right to have my child killed. However, if I want the baby delivered early because I don't want to...

If I procrastinate..and then decide in my late second or third trimester and I and the baby are healthy..then no, I don't think I have the right to have my child killed. However, if I want the baby delivered early because I don't want to be pregnant anymore..then I think I should have that right. I think I shouldn't have to be pregnant anymore if I don't want to, as long as the child can be removed without killing him or her.
I mistakenly left out those who have four or more kids. I didn't mean ALL people on welfare. Soo very sorry for the mistake. You see, I'm exhausted and ill from WORKING, with no sleep, health issues and a bad leg. I was once on welfare, so I know not all people on welfare are lazy, some feel stuck in the system. However, I also know of people who keep having kid after kid so they can work the system. I also meant if they want to continue to get benefits, they should agree to be sterilized or at least get on some type of contraceptive. I got my tubes tied, its not the end of the world. In fact its a relief!!!! I struggle as it is..the LAST thing I would want to worry about is an unwanted pregnancy. My last minor child deserves better than that. In fact so do my adult kids.
Women should do what is right, with no interference from the government. Unfortunately millions don't do the right thing for themselves or their body. Sad but true.

Agreed and may I add taking Parental responsibility. There's overwhelming amount of dead beat fathers and the woman who choose them. Why? Because they know that the government will take on that roll -ridiculous!
"Stupid little girl" LOL. Shows how ridiculous you are I'm a 51 year old woman well educated who has never asked nor needed a thing from anyone.I've raised 2 sons 1 in college the other will start in the fall.No student loans When my husband and had them WE provided for that..You feminist liberals believing that abortion is the only alternative to having a child are insane. If you've worked for women's rights your whole life perhaps young women would be better served to educate them teaching them to make good choices. That would fall under the "get a clue" category.
First I don't hide my age I've stated it many, many times here and the avatar is me and current the oldest one I'm 50 in.(I've met 3 people from SH if you'd like verification). It's so unfortunate that you are such an angry woman-tough life dear? I was referring to your own statements regarding abortion...forget that easy? You have know idea who I am but have made so many assumptions all incorrect of course.Planned parenthood shouldn't be responsible for teaching children anything-that's what parents are for.Unfortunately digressing to everything I've previously written and your lack of comprehension skills has failed to recognize Parents need to be responsible....too easy? But then again if they did you'd be out of a job.I'd also like to add for someone who claims to be a women's advocate you certainly have no problem with degrading a woman as feeble as your attempts may have been.
Did you miss the "Take personal responsibility"? I have been taught that and lived my entire life that way.So what's stopping anyone else? The government isn't your Daddy if more people realised that we would have created to mess of society we now have.
Personal responsibility has nothing to do with dependency. How pitiful that you or anyone has chosen to rely on government for everything.. your every need and those of your children.
