The U.S. helps save the Egyptian people from the tyrant Mubarak -- and then radicals attack our embassy. We help Libya free themselves of the horrific Muammar Gaddafi, and they storm our embassy and murder our diplomats. Should the US suspend aid to the countries that commit these crimes?

FOXNEWS.COM reports:
Lawmakers and other officials stepped up calls Thursday for the United States to put heavy pressure on the governments whose people are storming U.S. diplomatic posts across the Middle East and North Africa -- even if it means freezing aid and expelling diplomats from Washington.

Ron Paul is more of an Isolationist how would that be bad for the U.S.? People that aren't like Ron keep sticking their noses where it doesn't belong. The U.S. supports the Zionist Israeli government while many innocent Arabs in Israel get killed.

A non-interventionist foreign policy is not an isolationist foreign policy. It is quite the opposite. Under a Paul administration, the United States would trade freely with any nation that seeks to engage with us. American citizens would be encouraged to visit other countries and interact with other peoples rather than be told by their own government that certain countries are off limits to them.

It is not we non-interventionists who are isolationsists. The real isolationists are those who impose sanctions and embargoes on countries and peoples across the globe because they disagree with the internal and foreign policies of their leaders. The real isolationists are those who choose to use force overseas to promote democracy, rather than seek change through diplomacy, engagement, and by setting a positive example.

    LEARN THE DIFFERENCE.

What a fool you are. If they already hate anyone who is different going into their land and pushing our people in makes it worse, (example- The Sha of Iran). Stop listening to your stupid O'Reilly, he is part of the problem.

If you support Mitt, I'm a globalist sellout, Romney, you are just as bad as an obamanite.

The absolute worse excuse for a POTUS; Romney should be up by 15 %; instead he is trying to silence the grassroots voters; we have GOT TO fix this before it is too late; Romney can't win I don't think; he's just like freakin McCain.

I wish Paul & Johnson would come to some sort of agreement & get the show moving again. I think there are loads more Americans who are seeing Romney more & more for being an out of touch Plutocrat without emotion or empathy. He statements since the Libya incident have been clearly dry & without sympathy, empathy or even the slightest emotion of any kind. He's desperate & it's showing. He's cutting his own throat every time he opens his mouth. No one can possibly support him to lead us in foreign affairs anymore... even the dumbest of the sheeple must be figuring it out.

The point is that "they" attacked our embassies & one way to retaliate (without dropping bombs) is by removing aid.

It really is our only tool without returning violence.

But I agree with Tuna. We should not be giving aid to any foreign nation.

It wasn't a nation that attacked the embassy. It was a radical extremist group.

so why are you in agreement with tuna that we should stop giving aid to Egypt?

because it is in our national interest to stay engaged with the rest of the world.

diplomatic engagement is FAR better than military engagement.

consider it an investment in peace... we either pay now or we pay later... and always gets more expensive (in $$ and BLOOD) as time goes by.
