Lawmakers and other officials stepped up calls Thursday for the United States to put heavy pressure on the governments whose people are storming U.S. diplomatic posts across the Middle East and North Africa -- even if it means freezing aid and expelling diplomats from Washington.

i disagree - i think it was good. The cofounder of the militant arm of Hamas deserved to die, the countries he was sneaking around in welcomed him with open arms, people need to question why china was to be his next destination... so the Israeli's once more have the balls to do what needs to be done. He is killed, egypt and jordan quietly breathe a sigh of relief and all the killers get out - mission accomplished, no innocent women or children caught in the crossfire just a precision kill.

EDIT: if the israeli's had came to me in australia and asked to borrow my passport for a few weeks so they could kill one of hamas founders I would have cheerfully handed it over

They didnt ask anyone though did they? The UK should cut all ties for such an act. A precision kill? some of the people whose identities were used were just normal citizens now in hiding for fear of repercussions for the rest of their lives.

so as a christian, how would you explain God mandating the death penalty to those who killed others - are you saying those that carried out the punishment did not have the right to do so?...

Yeah, we should end it now, you call yourself a christian yet dont believe the bible is in any way from God (is that better?). You are obviously not a follower of Christ, who quoted extensively from the Old Testament. As for saying only God has the right to kill... I guess each country should disband their military forces and not defend themselves in case they accidently kill an attacker. Next time someone opens fire in a crowded cinema just try to run away and no one shoot back, unless they kill the attacker by mistake. Just follow him from a distance until he runs out of bullets then arrest him.
When someone breaks into your house and starts raping and killing your daughters just politely ask them to stop...

Israel and America together have killed over a million people ( more then every terrorist in the world at the moment combined) and the majority of them were not terrorists

America is broke, the country is crumbling to the ground, and we cannot afford to support the world any longer or Israel....Netanyahu says Israel can take care of and protect itself so maybe they should start doing that for once rather then depending on America for everything like a welfare recipient

Yeah I am aware of people risking their lives to come here because opportunity lies here. This isn't a perfect country, America has good things and bad flaws. I don't know about this liberal thing you're talking about but don't compare to a group of people that I am not associated with.

I already know that America is a good place to live but I fear for the undesired people we put in our government.
