Bridges for America, not for Khandahar
As Senator Graham said we need to leave in a way that ensures we won't have to go back there again in the near future.
The threat of terror will always be there, but we must keep the threat in realistic view, you are more likely to be killed by lightening than to be killed by a terrorist. The perceived threat of terror is extremely overexhaggerated than the actual threat.
Even if they asked for our help, we still can't justify fighting a war we have no money to pay it with. We have already squandered the money of our great grandchildren away on a useless wars.
In the case of Afghanistan they don't want to change, the occupation from USSR should have proved that to us. Why have have we not learned from past mistakes?
When humans have forgotten their past, we are doomed to repeat histories mistakes.
Whether we like it or not it is impossible to win war on terrorism as long as men with disagreements will not solve their differences in a civil manor and a willingness to accommodate one another. You can not change other people, we can only change ourselves.
In spite of the fact that some do not want them to vote!
So they knew that their fellow citizens would work hard to disenfranchise them. just because they are in the military?
