Should the world still be hunting nazi war criminals?

Now i in no way condone the crimes committed by the Nazi's but at the same time i honestly feel this is a classic case of people's emotions overruling their common sense.they have just arrested a war criminal in Hungary. he's 97 years old! what are they going to do to this man? put him to death? well it's likely natural causes will beat them too it.put him in prison the rest of his life? how long could that really be?in the mean time they have spent tens of thousands of dollars. hunting him, catching him, holding him for trail,prosecuting him, caring for him,and putting him in prison. all for what will most likely be less then a one year sentence.

these are my thoughts. what are yours?

I think the Jews can if they want to. They were the brunt of the Nazi's. Are there many still alive to even bother with?

Of course we should. What the war criminals did under Nazy rule are some of the worst crimes against human beings that have ever been seen. Just because they're old and time has passed doesn't mean they should be allowed to go to the grave without ever being held to account for they did.

Why actively hunt a bunch of geezers that are probably only dangerous to themselves now. If they are engaged in some criminal pursuit and get caught that's good, but to waste resources and time, no.

There are a lot of active criminals in government positions I would much rather see evidence gathered on and prosecute them.
