Why the hell is it that WE have to be the whole world damn police!? Why the hell is that our job!? We need to get our troops home and take care of ourselves for a change!! We can't afford the cost of money and lives lost!! These wars are not ours! GET OUT!! All this crap I hear that our military is strategically placed around the world for our own protection is a bunch of propaganda bs, it's not true!! We need to protect our OWN peace and sovereignty for a change, let the world police itself.

    Troops? No way.

However, Assad is using his military to gun down hundreds, maybe thousands of innocent civilians. If our forces sent a cruise missile into the Presidential Palace, I wouldn't shed a tear for Assad.

The Syrian port city of Tartus hosts a Russian naval supply and maintenance base, under a 1971 agreement with Syria. The base was established during the Cold War to support the Soviet Navy's fleet in the Mediterranean Sea. Since Russia forgave Syria of three-fourths, or $9.8 billion, of its $13.4 billion Soviet-era debt and became its main arms supplier, Russia and Syria have conducted talks about allowing Russia to develop and enlarge its naval base, so that Russia can strengthen its naval presence in the Mediterranean. Amid Russia's deteriorating relations with the West, because of the 2008 South Ossetia War‎ and plans to deploy a US missile defense shield in Poland, President Assad agreed to the port’s conversion into a permanent Middle East base for Russia’s nuclear-armed warships. Since 2009, Russia has been renovating the Tartus naval base and dredging the port to allow access for its larger naval vessels.

Unless Syria is threatening the united states no American troops should not be sent to Syria. It is way past time that the united states begins minding our own business and stop invading other nations which is exactly what the united states does every time we send troops to a foreign nation.

To add to the carnage already happening in the front-lines, U.S. soldiers are committing suicide at record levels.

So, how many more living Americans with families do you want to trade for dead, broken corpses in flag-draped coffins?

I read where they did a full face transplant in Maryland the other day.. it is financed by the Dept of Defense. Why? Because there are somthing like 200 American young men (and women) who have had their faces blown off in these stupid wars and the Dept of Defense would like to give them new faces!!!!

Can you believe this? Our f *cking Senators and Congressment allow this sh*t to continue while they sit on their thrones in Washington DC (District of Criminals)!!!!!

Send all the Crimimals to the front lines.. put their children and grandchildren on the front lines... take their stolen fortunes and give it to the wounded servicemen and women!!

    True.

I think that if politicians have disagreements with politicians of other nations, they should just pick-up some boxing-gloves, a board-game, or the like for an internationally-televised match to settle the dispute amongst themselves personally. Unless they themselves are willing to risk their own lives by leading troops into the front-lines, I do not think they should be allowed to force others to do so. Blood-thirsty cowards should not be rewarded.
