By now, I am sure you've all heard about the massacres in Syria. Many countries around the world are openly condemning the actions taken by the Syrian govt.
They, of course, blame terrorists for the atrocities.
Many are calling for military action against the Russian-backed Syrian govt forces and there's open talk of arming the rebels.

The U.S. has been bogged down in the Middle East for over 10 years now. The American public has polled overwhelmingly for immediate withdrawl from Afghanistan.
The last American intervention in Lybia did not exactly bring forth the desired outcome that President Obama wished. That country is still divided and in chaos.

Furthermore, what will be the cost to taxpayers for another intervention? What about the costs in military soldiers? If we succeed, we will still need to provide BILLIONS in foreign aid and support to the struggling new democracy. Assad has after all been a U.S. supported dictatorship for over 40 years and a strategic asset. Removing him will certainly cause undesired "ripples" across the Middle East.

So what do you think? Should we help the Syrian people become a free country?Should we do nothing while Assad kills his own people?
Should the U.S. get involved in the Civil-War in Syria?

When your car is broken you cant give anyone a ride.
Our country is in distress as of now and we are so thinly spread out as it is, not only can we not afford to get involved in Another war but other countries and their citizens need to work things out for themselves. By the USA intervening in every single occurence like this one, we are creating a dependance that we can not and should not be responsible for.
America is the way it is because its OWN people stood up to tyranny!
It is sad and ofcoarse my heart breaks for them, especially the children, but America shouldnt be the world's police when we cant take care of our own country.

My burning question: Are the Syrian government and Assad responsible for the recent murders of civilians including over 30 children? Or is this just another orchestrated attack and a false flag to occupy yet ANOTHER country? So I follow and see a pattern and my question seems answered. The very same people who orchestrated 9/11 and goodness knows how many other crimes against humanity are definitely behind it all. The enemies of the free world are a very small group and like their Nemeses before them (anyone in history with Darwinian brains, their idea of a superior race and world domination) WILL FALL!

group nemeses history darwinian brains superior race world domination fall

We're broke and deeply in debt. I don't want our young men and women dying for someone else's war! We need to mind our own business. Hell we owe so much money to China right now, I see no end in site.

ASSad is a psycho and deserves to die immediately, but the US should stay out of it. In fact, we should leave the Middle East entirely.

Too late; I fear it is already happening and the Western world is actually escalating it, instead of getting the hell out.

    http://www.sodahead.com/unite...

Russia is already arming the Assad and we are about to give the other side weapons. In addition the US has been sending 50% of their weapons towards the Middle East since 1960. Most of the countries regime have been using those weapons against their people and the U.S. Another dumbass decision that has now come back to bite us in the ass. It will only get worse.

    Spread the word.

Unavoidable, we have been there for decades. Our preferences are irrelevant.
No Air Fly Zone is not in place because Mr. Putin is upset at not being as popular worldwide as he was before Mr. Obama became POTUS and is opposed to that measure. That simple.

Let Russia give some help. We are running on empty as far as our appetite for more Middle East propping up. That long necked Assad needs to be held accountable by his own military. If they don't have the stomach for it then what does that tell you?????
It breaks my heart to see innocent people and children massacred, but we must draw the line somewhere because it breaks my heart every time I hear of one of our brave military having fallen never to get up again.

No one wants to come to you and no one wants your meddling! And all of these stupid wars are a way for someone to get rich. Ppl wake up, stop watching Kardashians and other brain numbing tv shows, read smth online. Learn a thing or two abt the rest of the world.

Realise that the US IS the aggressor here! I agree, sticking your noses everywhere, and your own back yard is messed up as it is..

No one EVER asked for you to meddle, your gov does it for their own purpouses.
And those boys are giving their lives for someone else's material gain.
