The Syrian government began to move its chemical weapons in recent days, senior U.S. officials confirmed to Fox News, prompting new warnings from the Obama administration that using those weapons against the population would cross a "red line."

Absolutely not!! We don't have the MONEY and we certainly don't have the disposable personnel that's necessary in a war. We don't have anyone leading this country and making sound decisions.

Why should someone come from halfway around the world when Syria is surrounded by able bodied nations like, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Northern Africa, Afghanistan, Europe.........let them handle it!

If someone attacked Canada, would we sit by idly while India came to their aid? Hardly. Let's stay in our own backyard and mind our own business.

The US has been told by Russia and China not to do anything; the reason why is because radical islamics are trying to take over, there is a huge amount of chemical weapons stock piled in Syria; if the radical muslims take over its spells disaster for all of us.....Sadam hussien when he knew that the US were getting close sent all his chemical weapons to Syria; that's why the US army found nothing......Iran has a huge part in this too, there leader whats to take over the whole middle east which in turn will hold power to the oil fields....radical islamics are trying but they will only get so far and the EU will step in directed by Germany who will go in and wipe them all. Why do you think no country has gone in and save the Syrian people......the radical islamics are to blame for the whole catastrophe heppening over there.......

Syria needs to be condemned and banned globally even if they do not use non ordinary weapons, just for massacring their citizen.

The US does not have the right to attack or invade another nation under any circumstances. We invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea, and numerous other nations and it has always resulted in the death of thousands or the maiming of tens of thousands of our military. In the end there is a 90%+ chance the invasion results in a worse long term situation. Leave the Syrians to the Syrians and stay out.

What good would it do? They hate us now and would hate us even if we saved their sorry a****. We have already done that in two wars and the survivors mock and hate our way of life.My Dad has a plate in his head from trying help a different set of ingrates. Not one Muslim country supports us. Concentrate on saving this country and its citizens. For surely no one else will.Actually they will cheer for the demise of this nation. There was a theory put forward over at veteranstoday.com that Benghazi was a result of a CIA false flag operation in process.
The CIA was to ship liberated mustard gas from Lybia to Syrian rebels via Turkey.
The rebels would then use the gas and blame it on the Syrian government.
The Russians supposedly had the American compound in Lybia taken out as a warning to the CIA.

There is no bigger picture to study. It is my opinion that Syria's government is dysfunctional and it's officials should be removed from power. The purpose of government is to serve the basic needs of the people. National security, economic fairness, civil liberties, and public infrastructure among them. They are not doing their job, and thus, should be fired. Just like the asshats in Congress.

Probably most of NATO can stay out of it.
Odds are some of that gas would drift into Turkey at which time the Turks will get pissed off and completely obliterate Assad's forces. Even if by some extreme fluke Assad got the upper hand on Turkey then all Turkey has to do is call a NATO Article 5 and bring the rest of the alliance in.

There needs to be an undecided button. Define "attack". Once Syria lays a finger on chemical weapons action of some kind must be taken. I am anti-war quite often but that is the line for me.
