No. Because the government is currently changing the meaning of the term "terrorist" to include anyone who disagrees with them about anything.

Since when should we be leaving that decision to a government that hates all the American people stand for? If that were the case, we should have all abided in the restrictions of King George and all been British Subjects right now. (Note....not Citizens, Subjects, like Serfs, like slaves....)

If they can allow mexican drug cartels to have gun the all Americans should be allowed, even ex-felons. Our own government is the biggest threat this nation faces and we are buying them guns and ammo and paying for their training to be used against us.

I am pro second amendment but it is just common sense that you restrict people who threaten the government from owning a gun.

You do realize that the Tea Party has been identified as as a group that contains possible terrorists, don't you?

Would you support restricting gun sales to Tea Party members?
  • gregory... Rusty S... 2012/07/10 21:52:29
    gregory.ditzler
Actually yes, the tea party is dangerous and has many historical similarities to the Nazis, the Falangists in Spain, and the Confederacy. We can't be sure that the tea party wouldn't start a war on american soil, in fact many have taken oaths and are saber rattling to even go as far as to threaten splitting from the union.

not everyone, that's a bad idea but keeping guns out of the hands of radicals and keeping them in the hands of the common man to protect themselves only makes sense.

You don't have a clue what you're talking about. The whole idea behind the 2nd amendment is to not only threaten the government but, to over throw the government if it turns to tyranny which, it already has. Support the 2nd amendment? Hell, you don't even know what it means.

Believe me when I say I am probably the most gun friendly liberal on this entire site, if you were to look back to some of my other posts on the subject you will find that I end up debating against the very people who would normally agree with me. We are not a true tyranny we are close no thanks to the GOP but we haven't mass murdered people for no reason yet or anything. The very fact you want to overthrow our government makes you a terrorist and if I were president I'd have people who threaten an overthrow of the government arrested before they became a problem.

TSA, NDAA, Patriot Act, national defense resource preparedness executive order, spy drones, viper teams, police receiving military training to form barry's civilian military force, taxpayer funded abortion, government policy that slows or stops economic growth, barrycare, using the UN and NATO to bypass congress, closing border check points, fema camps, doesn't seem like tryanny to you? Good grief. I still stand by my original comment to your original comment.

I didn't say it wasn't close and not all those things you listed are bad; government funded abortion, Obamacare, and FEMA Camps. Also some of those things you said are made up such as intentionally sabotaging the economy.

Shades of King George! Who do you think the colonists were, they didn't just roll over and lick the hand that was holding them in submission, they fought back! And without them, you would be a British Subject right now. Wake up and smell what's cooking! It has already happened, under Clinton's watch, when the Government has mass murdered citizens...remember Waco?

Well for one thing, we would probably be better off if we were British. You obviously don't understand what happened in Waco. The Davidians needed to be wiped out before they hurt someone else.

Here is the Trap . No one will argue in favor of selling guns to Terrorist.
Two problems quickly emerge . As Citizens are identified by association .
The individual is lost from personal identity and responsibility.
The individual is penalized for crimes never committed .( prosecution of thought crimes)

Secondly . Defining which groups are terrorist . According to homeland security .
Liberty Lovers are terrorist . Veterans cannot be trusted , Tea Party are suspicious .
Want smaller government , lower taxes ? you are a terrorist !

Nation of islam, Uniforms and clubs telling voter they better make the right choice,
Radical moslems not terrorist according to homeland security .
Search old white women in wheel chairs, the Guy in Drag wearing a Burka is given a pass.

Why is government selling guns in the first place? :)

But... a U.S. citizen who sells guns to terrorists is a traitor imo.

There are already checks for those of us that buy or bought guns legally. Criminals and terrorists don't just get them at the local gun shop now do they?

The problem comes down to whom decides. By placing control under the government, they could decide anyone to be a so called terrorist. The how do you define the word Terrorist, anyone with a criminal record (does it matter what that record is), anyone that is not American, anyone who has more than one firearm, why is it.

That's my question, should the government have the power to decide?
