Should the government ban the sale of candy at drugstores since obesity and diabetes is such a problem in the US?

The city of Boston has banned the sale of cigarettes at drugstores city-wide. I understand that smoking related illnesses are an issue but where do we draw the line on the government's power and personal choice? I am hypoglycemic and about 10 lbs over my ideal weight, should the government step in and stop the sale of sugary snacks?

I am sorry, but if people cannot have self control and choose to buy the things that continue to decrease their health and quality of life, then that is something they must live with.
OF COURSE, people are going to argue that health care costs are rising because of all of this and it is picking away at the pockets of all of us, I call BS~ I totally disagree with all of that line of thinking and well, the day they do not let me get a hershey's bar at Walgreens is the day I stop having to go to a drug store for any reason....pretty unrealistic huh? just about as unrealistic as the banning of candy at ANY store....
