If that's what the facts show, it needs to be made public. Doesn't surprise me. I feel awful for all those affected by this.

I think there is NO denying the link. The question is should the federal govt be financially responsible for the civil servents healthcare OR should the state of NY be responsible. I'm guessing the govt(s) is going to hold out for a long time to see how many of these servents die off instead of doing the right thing from the beginning.

Science, not emotion should rule. There is no reputable science to support the claim.

In which case it wouldn't be a "link". If there is a link, it means the science has been done. IF you have counted evidence, please supply it.

Have you ever studied statistics? You can have a LOT of links between things without any causitive factors involved at all. And the burden of proof of a cause is on those who claim injury. Otherwise, I could claim that your comments caused my grievous emotional pain and sue you for long term counseling, and you would have to pay it (an absurd scenario to illustrate how much more absurd our system of Torts could be). And if no cause - no scientific proof can be found, all this is is a money grab by lawyers and politicians who are using the misfortune and misery of others to empower themselves.

They should also acknowledge that the cancer causing dust is from nukes set off in the basements, and the DU-weaponized remote controlled Cruise Missile that hit the Pentagon where radiation levels were 10 times over normal, and who carried out the attacks. See, "9-11 Toasted Cars"

I thought about this while watching it all unfold on TV at the time. I saw people wandering around covered in dust and knew there was bound to be asbestos in those old building materials. Mesothelioma can take decades to appear, so this is going to be a problem for 09/11 survivors well into the future. The government has already had plenty of time to structure a plan to handle with cancer cases.

Of course they should. But then they hold themselves potentially liable as more of the truth comes out that it was an inside job. Really doesn't matter as the powers that be including the Supreme Court are as corrupt as the government and the media.

What they should do also is stop giving money to these victim's families. Just because someone died doesn't mean you should get money. Holocaust survivors never got anything for what they had to go through.

I agree, there has to be an END PAYMENT point with this, just like with Katrina. There are still payments going out for katrina and NO ONE should have been paid for that. THEY failed to plan, THEY stayed after an evac order, THEY decided to live in a cereal bowl city.

9-11 was a tragedy, but how about they make the islamics pay the costs instead of the taxpayers.

What is the intent of such an acknowledgement? If it is to pry open the federal treasury, NO! Let the City of NY and the State of New York pay for their City and State employees.

I know. In 2001 I was paying about $ 4,000 per year for a basic commercial property insurance. After the 9/11 attack. I got my bill for the same property $27,000 per year. When I questioned it, the response was "TERRORISTS ATTACKED".

I had to go all the way to the state insurance commission that my warehouse in a little town in rural NC was not a major terrorist target. Then I was told, that the insurance had to go up to pay for the World Trade Center losses.

So, who in NYC wants to reimburse me for my terrorist caused losses?

It would be nice if they did, however, they are still sticking to the fairy tale that Bin Laden and crew were responsible for the "attack" in the first place even though anybody with half a brain knows that is a lie. It is highly unlikely at this point that our Government would tell us the truth about anything, much less anything related to 9/11.

That's exactly right Linda. We were taught that as children, or at least we should have been. Too bad our leaders have no conscious at all, and 95% of the population is too asleep to catch them at it.

The really odd thing is that so many people still believe the fairy tale. My son (8th grade) told me that a kid in his grade told one of his teachers that our own government did that to us and she went ballistic. She even followed him into his next class to chastise him. When our teachers, cops, military and lower level politicians refuse to even consider the obvious, they are as much to blame as the lying bastards at the top.

Union people should not be in charge of our children or our Country. I think if I had a school age child now I would home school them and make sure they had a social life. It's very difficult to get rid of a union worker no matter how poorly they perform their job and what their opinions are. What once was almost essential is killing our Country. So much deceit I almost always think of what the REAL story is. Sad state of affairs my friend.

Yes it is sad. Just think of all those kids in Chicago right now. The union and the teachers could care less about the kids, it's all about them. If I was the Mayor, I think I would tell them all to go home and never come back. But of course, he won't have the backbone to do that. From the test scores I'm hearing, it wouldn't really make any difference to the kids, they sure aren't learning anything anyway.

In a perfect world, we would have transparency and people would publish relevant facts. In our imperfect lawsuit-driven world, being transparent, open, and honest leads to a lawsuit. But, yeah, at least the Feds should be transparent and open.
