Kinda sounds like the establishment of a religion. The Arabs believe that the Koran IS the government.

I would send him a report afterwards and say: " Hey, I committed a crime of ignorance and you force me to read this?"

    genocide

    Demon1
    ETC....

I thought the punishment was meant to reform, not make me more of a criminal?

    "even for the young virgins!"

Perhaps they put them on a chain and hand fed them them until it was time. Who am I kidding? Pedophilia is okay according to the Old Testament.

I'm not familiar with the "Numbers" or the "Deuteronomy" because I was raised a Catholic here in France, and we were not allowed to read the Old Testament (it was "for the Protestants", or "heretics"), only the New Testament.
Now I understand why. You don't want the kids to read about extreme cruelty, and ask "Father, could you explain the part about the young girls who have not known a man intimately?".

If she was Christian than this sounds like it was for rehabilitative purposes not punishment. If however the person wan't Christian then this would be offensive because the Judge would be pushing his views on others.

Not quite sure just what you mean by that, but the bible is chock full of unusual cruelty. A poorly written book of utter horrors, all at the hand of an ego-maniacal monster, with a pathological need to be worshiped.

I think the government should base all laws according to the bible far more good would come to the world. Less rapes, murder, crime of all natures.
