    How utterly rediculous ths question is? I can't even believe I am seeing this question. Our history for freedom is very long and pathetically our memories very, very short, or non-existent. Have we forgotten the millions of men and women, who fought bravely, loyally for the unprecedented freedom that we ALL hold dear. Whoever is asking this question really needs to visit just one foreign country for at least a month. That person will never, ever ask that question again unless that person is completely ignorant about the United States of America.

    old glory is now coming down in many communities & public buildings across the nation. in my subdivision, i cannot display a flag on my own property. in some cities ordinace says a flag on your home cannot be visible from a public road.

    the pc brigade & the aclu says the flag is demeaning & racist to many new immigrants from the middle east. the aclu is attacking the flag & patriotism like it attacked crosses or anything christian like.

    The more I see and hear lately, I have changed my mind about racial profiling. If the immigrants of any race, color, religion, whatever else don't like our flag they shouldn't be here. Go back to where you came from. America has had enough of people coming to our country for a better life and continually trying to change things. Get out.

    i paid my dues as a vet of two wars & still fly the flag after many threats of citations. who are you to call? the politicans stopped listening to the people. the politicians do as they please. even the vfw & al are loosing their patriotic clout thanks to the libs.

    it will only get worse with elena kegan now in the supreme court. she approves of flag burning as part of free speech. she approved rotc kick out of universities & gays in the military. she is pelosi made over.

    i wrote my reps of my displeasure of flag banning & burning. what have you done? help me revese some of these liberal laws. write to your reps.

    Some kid wore an American flag t-shirt on the fifth of May, aka Cinco de Mayo, and the teachers deemed it "Inappropriate". So I think the kid either got sent home or was suspended.

    wrong. this story made national news right befor the elections. also plays & songs were sung praising obama at a wisconsin public elementary school yet anything bush was not tollerated.
