I asume you are also racist? There are black skinheads, too. Skinhead cannot be defined by his politics. There are Communists, Nationalists, Anarchists, Anti-Political, Socialist, etc etc, I could go on and on, political views is something that is unique to each and every one of them. I personally know a few and I can only say good things about them. Victimizing people you do not even know is wrong and /VERY/ ignorant. I hope you enjoy living such an ignorant life.

I'm not a racist. I've known people who were in prison. They had bad experiences and were witnesses to all kinds of ideologies and behaviors. Thats how I know stories about all the different gangs and radical groups. You are still a baby, you can't possibly believe that all the radical people in the United States are like your friends. Why do you think our prisons are breaking at the seams with radical crazy people. Years of drug/alcohol abuse turns them into criminals. They weren't like that when they were young, years in the warped mentallity turned them into society rejects! They even have a show of (prison life) with the same kind of people (we are talking about) in MSNBC, most of them are scary, go check it out yourself!

I heard and seen examples of the violent ones. Yes, the violent ones are mostly nationalist/neo nazi and red/communist ones, but the rest, the anti political ones, the "Trojan", the "SHARP", those are non violent. They are for peace, for unity, for anti racism, for anti politics in their subculture. Don't judge something you know nothing of. I think pointing out my age is quite in vain as age does not equal lack of experience of knowledge. Tho, in my experience, as older a person is, the more /IGNORANT/ it is. It's pointless to point out the age of a person.

Gangs have a different purpose than skinheads. Gangs have a certain territory that they patrol and 'protect' from rival gangs while committing crimes to prove themselves. Skinheads are typically white supremacists that publish racist ideology and commit crimes both minor and major towards non-whites. Both are a societal ill, but they are hardly comparable- gangs are unified by strength in numbers against the law, but skinheads are unified against non-whites (mostly black people- their favorite target). In a way they are a gang, but the creed of the gangs you mention is not based on racism or racial supremacy- there IS a difference.

That's actually become very untrue in recent years. Skinhead groups, especially on the west coast have become quite larger. They span many states and have gotten into running drugs and guns. They are not some small time group harassing neighborhoods like in the movie American History X. They've turned themselves into an organization. Granted they still view themselves as Aryan etc. many skinheads still do racially motivated crimes. What it truly comes down to. Black, white, Asian, Mexican, dog, cat, horse, I need not go on.... Is that all gangs are ridiculous. They are pointless and only hurt communities because they are the worst form of terrorism.

Perhaps their activities have shifted a bit rather than intensify or grow..... but they have become more organized, more self sustaining through criminal activity, and more ruthless in their approach.... but their origins and ultimately their purpose has always been to spread white supremacy....
