Whatever the problems in a society it is important that people can learn to face them together, as a united nation, united across ethnic and cultural lines to brave the modern world, that way everyone can grow stronger together.
p.s. I am not from America and although I generally keep up with American politics I was surprised to see this question, is there a strong pro segregation movement in your country?
Neighborhoods themselves have been desegregated. I think no kid should be more than 6 to ten blocks away from their school unless they live in farm country. Stop creating more smog by all this crazy bussing and spend the money on actually educating the kids.
Segregation is a blight in the history of this country. What I don't understand is why so many of the so called black leaders like Jackson and Farrakhan keep wanting to go back to it nor do I understand why so many black congressional representative see the need to segregate themselves into something called the Black Congressional Caucus
