Well, you'll have to go through the individual mainstream news media articles to find that out.

But, even mainstream news media admits that he won a majority of delegates in plenteous States. So, a number of supposed "Romney" delegates could actually be Ron Paul delegates who will abstain form voting for the 1st vote before voting form Dr. Paul on the 2nd.

Sorry I can't be too helpful at this time. It's final exam week in my university and my timed break is limited.

Not true. Not at all. His 'Libertariansim' has nothing to do with it. It's his threat to the power elite which is where the friction is coming from. The Establishment hates him, and it is the Establishment which is fomenting the anti-Paul rhetoric and sleazball actions at the caucuses.

He advocates states rights to decide regarding drugs. How many states do you think would legalize all narcotics? Give me a break. There really is a lot of ignorance on this board from people are too lazy to read.

"He's also a nut." That's the media narrative to discredit a man who actually is looking out for the little guy. That's why he has been trying for 30 years to educate people about the secretive Federal Reserve. How they cause the booms and busts and devalue the dollar so that it costs more money at the grocery store to buy food and anything else that you need to live.

I don't think there's anything crazy about the states controlling narcotics, instead of an over-funded federal entity that makes the laws up as it goes, botches raids and kills innocent people or their pets, and doesn't have to suffer any consequences for it.

The nuts are the people who think the country wouldn't be able to function without the DEA and FBI, or the people who think we couldn't function without a federal income tax. How can anyone with a brain say "nooo we need an income tax! please tax me!"

Lol...I like a lot of what paul has to say but he does go too far. It is Ok to make certain drugs illegal, to have security interests abroad and to ban certain types of abortion. It is not ok to ignore the constitution and this is where paul is right.

No not at all. The Republican party had better listen and learn fast from Ron Paul. Dick Lugar lost in Indiana today because the Rhino Party is dead.

The republican base is already fractured. 20% of it's base are rabidly loyal to Ron Paul.

The republican party has brought itself down with it's warfare/welfare (corporate) platform.

If you understand what is happening to our nation, you would know that both parties have contributed to the 16 trillion dollars in debt that is threatening America.

    America first... party last!

Just a guess, but I'd say Ron Paul is the Republican Party's last chance...

Either they go his way, or they will go away!

    George,

You wrote a very common sentiment: "ron paul should do it immediately so he doesnt bring the republican down"

As attested to by many polls and especially voter turnout during the primaries, Governor Romney's support among Republican voters is rather weak. If he obtains the Republican nomination and if he is to have a reasonable chance against President Obama he will need most of Congressman Paul's supporters to vote for him.
I don't think that most will.
If I am correct, then Governor Romney doesn't have much of a chance to defeat President Obama.
However, unlike most of Rep. Paul's supporters, most other Republican voters will vote for whoever their nominee is, if for no other reason than to replace a Democratic President.
If Congressman Paul, through a brokered convention, wins the Republican nomination, his chances will be stronger than Governor Romney's based on numbers alone.
The Congressman polls better against President Obama than does Governor Romney, and many self-described progressives and Democrats who are disappointed with President Obama's militarism and civil rights abuses have already voiced their support of Congressman Paul should he win the nomination.
Add independent voters and we may see an interesting election year.
The debates between our President and the Congressman would certainly show our fellow countrypersons quite a contrast.

    Regards,

    Charles

The Republicans have already brought themselves down with all of their shenanigans in the caucuses and primaries. Oh, yeah, they don't need Ron Paul to help them out with that--LOL!
