But, even mainstream news media admits that he won a majority of delegates in plenteous States. So, a number of supposed "Romney" delegates could actually be Ron Paul delegates who will abstain form voting for the 1st vote before voting form Dr. Paul on the 2nd.
Sorry I can't be too helpful at this time. It's final exam week in my university and my timed break is limited.

The nuts are the people who think the country wouldn't be able to function without the DEA and FBI, or the people who think we couldn't function without a federal income tax. How can anyone with a brain say "nooo we need an income tax! please tax me!"
The republican party has brought itself down with it's warfare/welfare (corporate) platform.
If you understand what is happening to our nation, you would know that both parties have contributed to the 16 trillion dollars in debt that is threatening America.
America first... party last!
Ron Paul 2012
Either they go his way, or they will go away!
You wrote a very common sentiment: "ron paul should do it immediately so he doesnt bring the republican down"
As attested to by many polls and especially voter turnout during the primaries, Governor Romney's support among Republican voters is rather weak. If he obtains the Republican nomination and if he is to have a reasonable chance against President Obama he will need most of Congressman Paul's supporters to vote for him.
I don't think that most will.
If I am correct, then Governor Romney doesn't have much of a chance to defeat President Obama.
However, unlike most of Rep. Paul's supporters, most other Republican voters will vote for whoever their nominee is, if for no other reason than to replace a Democratic President.
If Congressman Paul, through a brokered convention, wins the Republican nomination, his chances will be stronger than Governor Romney's based on numbers alone.
The Congressman polls better against President Obama than does Governor Romney, and many self-described progressives and Democrats who are disappointed with President Obama's militarism and civil rights abuses have already voiced their support of Congressman Paul should he win the nomination.
Add independent voters and we may see an interesting election year.
The debates between our President and the Congressman would certainly show our fellow countrypersons quite a contrast.
Regards,
Charles
