    Let us review...
In 1976, the Republicans nominated a midwestern moderate (Ford)...and LOST.
In 1992, the Republicans nominated a northeastern moderate (Bush I)...and LOST.
In 1996, the Republicans nominated a midwestern moderate (Dole)...and LOST.
In 2008, the Republicans nominated a western moderate (McCain)...and LOST.
In 1980, 1984, 2000 and 2004, the Republicans ran candidates selling a conservative message...and WON every time.
In Summary.....Romney was literally Obama lite! Many Republicans did not vote period because of that fact!

No Romney should not run again. We need a real Republican.

I was a huge Gary Johnson supporter in the last electon. Problem was no one heard of him due to the fact he wasn`t allowed to participate in any of the primary debates. However Mitt Romney would be the logical choice today. The last thing this country needs is another round of Clintonism. If you`ve owned any Real Estate ...you know what I am talking about. Oh yea...lets not forget NAFTA. Thats really worked well for us.
    Right Bill!

It would be wonderful to have Mitt Romney in the Whitehouse. He looks like a President and talks like a President, and he is a brilliant business man. What a wonderful change of pace for the American people. I am a Canadian citizen and was devastated Mitt Romney lost the election for President, so I hope he gets back in the game for 2016. He would also bring with him a very attractive First Lady.

Why? So he can lose again? Seriously, have we learned nothing the last 2 elections? People like Romney are not going to get elected because they don't appeal enough to their own base let alone across the aisle and to the Independents... Last I looked, 6 million less voted this time around. You need someone that motivates.
Point is, why would you want a Liberal clone when you can have the real thing? If you dont want the real thing, why would you then vote for the clone? Makes no sense for such a loser to run again.
Offer up a real candidate, a real Constitutional, Liberty minded Conservative who appeals across the aisle. Who motivates us and offers REAL change. Then we may see victory.

Oh yea, dispense with the Gov in the bedroom bs (Santorum) as well. NOBODY will get elected that pushes Gov into the bedroom, don't even bother pushing those losers into the Primary. They only waste our time, money and patience..

The "Grand" in "Grand Ol' Party" has eroded away, the Republican Party is caving in on itself, and the people around them are growing more liberal in their opinions. Unless he reverts to many of the positions he held in the '90s and learns to be more precise in his comments, Romney won't stand any chance of winning the 2016 elections.

Seriously? He's an extremely good and charitable person. And he's a great public speaker. Not sure where you got that one from.

    Here's one example...

He shared a story of a V.A. hospital in Boston that Mitt Romney stopped at while on the campaign trail running against Ted Kennedy. Ted Kennedy had made a thirty minute stop at the same location a couple of weeks prior.

After touring the V.A. hospital, Mitt asked to look at their books. After he spent forty minutes going through their books, he told them, “You run a very good place, very tight. Very good.” Romney asked to go on another tour of the hospital, and after spending an hour and forty minutes there, the last question he asked was, “So what… what do you ‑‑ what are you lacking? What do you need help with?”

    The response? “Milk.”

Since the press was around, snapping photos and asking questions, Glenn explained that Romney did a really awkward joke where he said, “maybe we should teach everyone here how to milk a cow.”

Of course, that’s all the press cared to hear and ran with a story that claims “Mitt Romney says veterans should have to milks cows.”

“This is where it gets good,” Glenn started. “Romney calls him up the next morning.”

Of course, that’s all the press cared to hear and ran with a story that claims “Mitt Romney says veterans should have to milks cows.”

“This is where it gets good,” Glenn started. “Romney calls him up the next morning.”

Romney first apologizes to the man who runs the hospital for any problems the attention from the press jumping on his words brought to the hospital. He next offers to help with the milks situation.

“Friday comes, and the milkman comes,” Glenn continues. “This is what the vets needed – they needed 7,000 pints of milk a week. Milkman shows up, 7,000 pints. The head of the V.A. hospital asks, “Where did all this come from?” He [the milkman] said “an anonymous donor.” Now, the guy didn’t put it together.”

Glenn explains that when the next week rolled around, the milkman shows up again, and continued to show up every week for two years. After two years of delivering 7,000 pints of milk a week to the hospital, as the milkman is retiring, the man finally gets him to reveal the anonymous donor.

    It’s Mitt Romney.

“Mitt Romney was writing a personal check and didn’t want anybody to know for two years and provided the vets with all of their milk in Boston,” Glenn explained to listeners this morning.

When Romney became governor, he sent a bill through to help the V.A. hospital – it was down to the dollar. This man told Glenn, “if you want a mechanic on the economy? It’s this guy. He [Mitt Romney] went and he looked at the books first. He wanted to see what we were doing and how effective we were. He said then, beyond that, the milk. He did that and he didn’t want anything ‑‑ he didn’t want anyone to know.”

He provided nothing to help the economy, he lied and exaggerated all through the debates and changed his mind constantly, he was very rude about London and the Olympics, and he's just not an intrinsically likeable person. America needs a strong leader, and that's definitely not him.

You must have been watching a different Romney than I was. Rude? There's not a rude bone in his body.
