he should just shut down the federal government period. it's been turning into a tyrannical system for about 96 years now, and the process is speeding up. health care and additional stimulus? i hope you don't pretend to know something about economics...

The public plan is the only part of this healthcare plan that will control cost .. yes the insurance companies with except those with health problems .. but only at out raging cost .. so yes they need a public plan to control that cost .. why just hand them young helathy people on a plater without any real competition .. the insurance companies have shown us how they will and have increased on prices .. and given out sloppy plans ..

Just because he can veto stuff that passes through congress doesn't mean it will shut down. congress the senate can override the veto if they have enough votes.
