Congress has blocked most everything he has tried to get passed to help the economy recover. Should he have just used Executive Orders to spur economic growth?

I wish that Barack Obama had issued an Executive Order by fixing the economy. Congress don't do anything to help the economy. The Democrats try to do what is right for America. I would like to see no pay for Congress, And also this Campaign Money could go to paying on America's debt. Let's Do That for America !!!! L. Suzanne Nichols Democratic Strategist

He should have done his job. The congress isn't the one standing in Obamas way lol, it's the senate...and it's controlled by the democrats.

Don't forget, Rog; he had a Democratically controlled Congress for his first 2 years in office. They didn't pass anything of his then EITHER.

The 60 votes needed in the Senate to even bring something to a vote enabled the Senate to block almost everything.

You may not understand how this "majority rules" thing works.

I do. The problem is that "majority rules" does not apply in the US Senate.
