My guess is the hoodie wasn't the problem. The color of the kid beneath that hoodie was the problem. Zimmerman needs to explain why he felt threatened by a kid in a hoodie and a can of iced tea and some Skittles... walking along in his dad's gated neighborhood, talking to his girl on his cell.
That is what I would like Zimmerman to address. Why the suspicion of this teen? What made him so threatening, Zimmerman had to exit his vehicle with his weapon ? WHY?

So I was wondering since so many people seem to think if a black kid is wearing a hoody he should be deemed a threat and subject to being followed questioned then shot in the chest .
Should only white kids wear hoods since you know white kids are little angels who do no harm . Pure as the snow some would say .
I am getting really disgusted by the way this poor teen is being portrayed by the lunatics on the right In the USA .
So he got suspended for having a empty baggy of weed and enjoy's wearing a hoody .
Guess what I smoke weed all the time (for personal use BTW) and adore my hoody's .
I own 5 hoody's .
Does this mean if I am in Florida any dumb judges loser son can walk up to me and start treating me like a threat ?
Another thing to add lets just say Trayvon did punch Zimmerman after flashing a gun at him I WOULD TOO!!!!
If I am walking down the street minding my own business and someone who is not a cop gets in my face waving a gun asking what I am doing walking around his neighborhood . He better not turn his back on me because I may jump him too .
In summation Zimmerman should be in jail awaiting trial no matter what .
The only way George is innocent is if he was walking down the Street and Trayvon had walked up to him acting like the jackass that Zimmerman was .
