WASHINGTON, —Today White House Spokesperson Jay Carney talked about religious tolerance and respecting all religious beliefs in regard to the anti-American violence spreading around the Muslim world.
|
|
However, President Obama has shown a profound lack of respect and tolerance toward the Christian faith by forcing Christians to abandon their deeply held religious beliefs in dictating compliance with the HHS mandate.
This mandate would force people of faith and conscience to violate their core beliefs by having to purchase abortion-inducing drugs and sterilization in their health care plans in direct violation of their religious values and teachings of their Church.
Mr. President religious tolerance and respect should apply to all faith traditions. Not just Islamic extremists.
Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, states,
“In today’s news conference, the White House talked about religious freedom and religious tolerance. If that is true, Christians are asking that President Obama show the same respect and tolerance to the Christian community that he is showing to Islamic extremists and terrorists.
“President Obama has shown a profound lack of respect and tolerance to the Christian community by forcing people of faith to purchase abortion-inducing drugs and sterilization through their health care plans.
“Sadly, this forces Christians to violate their deeply held core values, religious beliefs and historic teachings of the Church.
“It is difficult to believe that President Obama would crush religious freedom and liberty through this HHS mandate and yet turn around and talk about religious respect and tolerance regarding the making of this anti-Islamic film.
“One could only imagine the violence and uproar around the Islamic world if President Obama forced Muslims to violate their deeply held religious views.”

I *am* against that video, but that is because the filmmakers stated that they made it with the intention of sparking riots and violence. I for freedom of speech but the purpose of that video was to spark what happened.
Still, I don't blame the religion, only the individuals responsible for the crimes.
Muslim Brotherhood has a colossal influence over the Muslim world. Especially in the Middle East where the majority of the inhabitants are Muslim. Many of these Middle Eastern Countries sit on an ocean of Oil. Which can then effect American Economy. Not only that, these Middle Eastern Country also hold the value of the dollar at hostage. They can destroy the value of the dollar by simply changing the selling price to a different currency, and the United States will lose there position as the World Super Power. So now that our diplomatic relationships is hanging by a thread, we will risk causing another global war, on a scale that is beyond comprehensible. Only this time, we are considered the axis of evil trying to fight to stay the world superpower.
I mean, with the way things are starting to unfold, WWIII is only inches away.
I see exactly what Obama is trying to do. It looks bad, but there is definitely a hidden agenda behind every diplomatic move that has been made.
You pose this question only to denigrate Obama who is truly trying to show tolerance which you are not.
Many Americans, namely Christians, believe Obama is a bigot. So, why should Christians "respect" a bigot?
