Should NBC be fined every time they edit a recording or a story to make someone look stupid or racist to fit their agenda ?

I think they should. Otherwise its a license to lie. They did it with the Zimmerman & Trayvon Martin 911 recording and today with Mitt Romney's talk about how the private sector does a better job at getting things done than big government.

Congress has decided not to do an investigation into the NFL (???) so maybe they would have some time to do something that MATTERS like look into THIS.
MSNBC has lost credibility to the point that they are only the butt of jokes .
As sad as that sounds, it really cannot be any other way or else there would be 100 new lawsuits every day with one channel accusing another.
we must be very cautious about giving anyone a right to punish. Many times an edit is a mistake, well not in the case of MSNBC as they do it on regular basis.
Let the maket place and common sense decide MSNBC fate as the rating already show, nobody but the most committed liberal would take them seriously in any case.

No president was ever re-elected with under 50% approval.
Expect that to drop as the economy worsens and he debates Romney without his teleprompter.
