Harry Reid, the Democratic Senate Majority Leader, has made it very clear that he has a "reputable source" telling him that Mitt Romney has not paid taxes for a time period of about ten years -- and that he wants the Republican presidential candidate to prove with tax returns that he has. Do you think all this tax-return talk is integral to the election -- or is it just a distraction?

Mitt Romney strongly denied Sen. Harry Reid's repeated, insistent claims that he did not pay taxes for a decade during a press conference in the Senate Majority Leader's home state of Nevada on Friday. "I have paid taxes every year, and a lot of taxes, so Harry is wrong," Romney said.

And have you ever considered what a failure FDR's New Deal was? That prosperity never turned the corner in his entire 14 year presidency.
Where do you get that I'm some Obama supporter? Obama did what he had to do - and as stated before -- every president since Reagan has let the corporatists into the White House. Yes - I do know what a corporatist is and I was warned against them back in 1937 by FDR. I doubt you can even spell out what FDR's name is. lol
So you can shut up -- what do you know about anything? Prove something to me. Who put us into the Great Depression and who got us out? And why was the USA the most prosperous country between 1945-1980 - tell me? How can you say FDR had nothing to do with that?
If you're not an Obama supporter then you must be one of the ignorant apathetic 'independent' undecideds. lol So what did you do about those wicked 'corporatists' back in 1937 while you were standing on the bread line all the way through to the Second World War?
The progressive economic policies of the Hoover and Roosevelt administrations put us through the Great Depression and kept our asses in a sling for an entire decade until FDR realized he would have to abolish his New Deal policies and rely on private industry (those evil corporatists?) to prepare America for World War Two. Private industry was also soley responsible for our post war prosperity from 1945 - 1980. And even more so for 25 years after that from the Reagan/Bush years. But everything FDR did in his time kept our nation in poverty back in the 'dirty thirties'.
I'm not against capitalism or corporations --- but what happened once Reagan opened the doors to the corporatists is a lot different than what you are talking about during WWII. The Crash of 2008 didn't happened with W nor Obama - you can trace it all back to the Reagan years and you can include every president after him. Clinton included.
The explosive housing bubble wasn't caused by any imaginary gremlins you call 'corporatists'. It was created and built up for decades beginning with Jimmy Carter to pander votes from poor constituencies by living breathing corrupt people in FDR's party.
