Should Machine Guns Be Legal?

every gun in the world should be allowed to every legal citizen of every country

what the hell would anyone need a machine gun for,

have you ever been in the military? been in a combat situation? been shot at? it's mot like the movies

no, but I have defended myself from home invaders twice. Each only took one shot, but an Kriss Super V would have been much nicer to have than a Saiga-12

congrates on the home invaders but, there is no country in the world that can transport a army to our shores. Transport aircraft are sittig ducks and ships would feel like they were targets in a shooting gallery. To the north is Canada, to the south Mexico. The movie Red Dawn was about a Cuban invasion, they're really out of the picture. So there is no invading army....from where-ever to need a fully automatic weapon to fight.

Its a two man lift. Soldiers in the field do it all the time, but your not gonna rob a drug store with it.

All weapons should be our government has not given us enough freedoms

I have always thought that the irresponsibility of a few should not hamper the rights of the responsible many.

And when you look at it from a national security standpoint, its a positive, think about it, if you had an army, would you invade a country with citizens armed to the teeth with military style weapons that know how to use them, or a country with defenseless peasants that plead for a military that takes two hours to arrive, its pretty obvious. It would also allow us to stop spending so much on security, if we the people were the security, we would not need as much money towards the military, because we could rely more heavily on our citizens to repel most enemy forces, and put more money towards education, science, and healthcare.

We should be able to be as well armed as our soldiers or an invading armys soldiers.
