- Christopher Bookkeeping 2013/02/26 17:09:07NoAlthough I do not believe that a civilized society should allow it's less fortunate to starve (even if they are the lazy less fortunate) I do not think that the tax paying fortunate should subsidize an added responsibility that those less fortunate CHOOSE to take on. If food rations could be given through donations I am all for that, the animals should not suffer as a result of their owners lack of foresight.reply

hunger is motivationreply - RichnBlessings 2013/02/26 16:20:30NoIf they can't afford to feed their pets, they should adopt them out. I don't want my tax dollars going to the "dogs", literally.reply
- Marshal Artz 2013/02/26 15:11:12YesPeople that need help in feeding there pets, should not have pets, but that is very hard to control. So food stamps to feed their pets is a good idea, but should be funded by donations and the Pet food manufactures. Purina makes a very good profit. In the long run what ever they would do would partially be passed on to the customer. These pets should not have to suffer from hunger.reply
