Should Large Pickup Trucks Be Banned?

I don't see a necessity for the average American to own one of the larger pickup trucks produced in the United States. We should be producing more fuel efficient automobiles instead of producing gas guzzling trucks and SUVs. Americans want more fuel efficient cars.

Raising fuel efficiency standards and producing more fuel efficient cars will decrease dependence on foreign oil and protect our environment by eliminating the need to, as conservatives and petroleum purchased-politicians advocate, drilling for oil in pristine environmental areas.
Already, the United States is an extremely wasteful society and Americans, in general, appear to be ignorant of the negative impact their consumption has on the rest of humanity.

Wow! And, you have the audacity to criticize environmentalists.
Sorry, not my rules...just the way it is
:o)~
A fact (derived from the Latin factum, see below) is something that has really occurred or is actually the case. The usual test for a statement of fact is verifiability, that is whether it can be proven to correspond to experience. Standard reference works are often used to check facts. Scientific facts are verified by repeatable experiments.

I swear it has been cloned from Cloward & Piven themselves.
Hint:~~ It's the same reason you went to grade school
"In America's Choice, Atkinson tells us we must become an eternally violent, militarized empire, that imposes its will through the terror of nuclear annihilation, subjugating and enslaving all others. And he argues that if we "fail" to be strong enough to nuke entire peoples off the face of the earth in order to terrorize the rest into being our helots - if we are too "weak" to do what is necessary, we will surely suffer extermination or slavery at the hands of "competing" civilizations. To Atkinson, it is kill or be killed, enslave or be enslaved, just like ancient Sparta."

but don't tell anyone because it's a secret~!
I knew you couldn't do it before I even asked

:o)~~
waste not want not , one has to measure waste vs. productivity as energy can not be created or destroyed only transformed. Millions and millions of years ago there were single celled organisms that became so productive that the waste product that they produced due to their excess productivity brought them to the edge of extinction as it poisoned them to death(burned them alive), that waste product was oxygen
The latest in genetic research (epigenetics) has shown the environment plays a far greater role on DNA then DNA plays on the environment
You sound to be a darwin-malthusian which is based in fear and selfishness
