Any child development professional will tell you that you do not do this to children. They learned the song, they practiced the song and when it was almost time to sing it, the principal came in and said you cannot do it. Its a bad message to the kids. And what does Justin Bieber have to do with anything? A song about heartbreak? To be sung by kindergarteners.....no common sense. Just stupid. Yeah, I sure guess these kids are learning a great deal at this school

The principal is doing this for her own political agenda. Parents did not complain about this. By a large margin they actually love this song given that many of them are Immigrants that became US citizens. Something they are proud off.

Why would anyone want to ban the singing of God Bless America? If this offends anyone, then they need to go back to where they don't sing about God. Back to where they came from where they weren't happy, and wanted to come to the land of the Free.

I think you have the story wrong. It was the Lee Greenwood song "God Bless the USA". The stated reason is because it was too much for the little kiddies. So they replaced it with Bieber's "Baby"!

There is NOTHING offensive about that song. The most controversial line is "God Bless the USA." Instead they put in a vapid pop song that has lyrics totally inappropriate to the age of the children involved. This administrator and her superiors should be removed for being dimwits.
