Whether he was a minor or not the boy probably enjoyed every minute of it. Sure she was wrong, but in no way should be a death penalty offence.

I don't believe in the Death Penalty for murder so that would be
really offensive to enforce it for this. Maybe some Community
Service would be a realistic sentence. The boy could have
told someone if he thought this was wrong. At 14 years old
he should have opinions of his own and it doesn't sound like
he was forced.

Pretermitting whether a 14-year-old boy has suffered any harm or damage from a heterosexual relationship with his teacher, the death penalty should be reserved for killers or drug kingpins.

I went through puberty nearly fifty years ago, and if I remember correctly, I didn't hardly need any "inciting" for a chance to do one of my hot lady teachers, I would have jumped at the chance. Hell, even one of the not so hot teachers would have done. To consider this a death penalty case is utter insanity, As nobody got killed, and the kid has a cool story to tell his friends.

Like it or not, the sexual dynamics involved with young males who are able to get their rocks off with someone who shows interest, is completely different from the dynamics involved with females.

If it were my 14yr old son I would like to see her serve jail time ,community service and I would SUE her for sure! I would feel the same way if my Daughter was molested by a male teacher,priest,neighbor etc.!

I will say the same thing I say for men who molest girls. It's disgusting, there is no excuse for a grown ass adult to be sexually involved with a child, especially 14. I'm sorry, there just isn't. I'm not going to be hypocritical and say she deserves less because she is a woman. One in the head and be done with it. People need to stop thinking it's okay to steal the youth of a child away.

I don't think its hypocritical to consider the circumstances in each case, and I doubt much harm would come to this kid. Most 14 year old boys fantasize about something like this. But still, her behavior was wrong and she should be fired and possibly some jail time.

what about if the roles were reversed? the girl is 14 and the teacher is in his late 30 or more. Would it still be a situation where being fired and POSSIBLE jail time was appropriate? Sandusky molested tons of kids, and got away with it for years. I think he should get a bullet in the brain. He hasn't revealed if any of his victims were physically murdered. Doesn't mean he didn't murder their innocence.

I think its different for males and females. A boy at that age sometimes already wants to be sexually active. If it was done against his will sure she should go to prison, but the boy should have a say on how it affected him and if he feels she should go to prison.
