Seriously though, an illegal who applies for a drivers' license should be deported. If we deport illegals who get themselves involved in the legal system, and close the border, in a few decades illegal aliens won't create such a vast problem in America.

If we "dried up"access to the social services, and to jobs here both, they'd self deport and solve our problems. No money, no food, no housing, no health care, no education... what's to stay FOR?

They are in America illegally. Giving them priveleges reserved for citizens is nonsense. Why not also let them vote. Why not also let them hold elective office. Why not also let them serve on juries. They do not merit the fruits of citizenship.

OK. Nobody on earth has proven that to be the case so you need to step up and show proof of your allegation. You know the drill: longform, with letterhead, with signatures, with notary seal. A cadre of attorneys failed to display that type of proof so give it your best shot. I am pretty certain you are an empty bag of hot air so put up or shut up.

If they already live in the U.S. AND are working their way through the system towards citizenship, yes. It's the same reason it's suggested tourists learn some English before visiting the U.S. - makes the transition a whole lot smoother than if they didn't bother.

The goal isn't to coddle immigrants into crossing the border - it's to make the illegals pay for refusing to go through the system by making their transition just that much rockier for them and going through the legal system that much more appetizing.

The only "transition" they're entitled to is to RETURN to wherever they came here from! If they came illegally, there's no "working their way to citizenship", or this is NOT a nation of laws!

You didn't read my first sentence properly, did you? Notice that the word "and" signifies that the people I'm talking about in the first paragraph are already trying to work their way through the system. My focus in the second paragraph was on the illegals who refuse to go through the system to gain their citizenship, and instead want to sneak across the border and pop out of nowhere like prairie dogs.

If you're not going to bother looking into my comments and would rather latch onto words like "illegals" and "citizenship," you're only wasting your time.
