In almost every country in the world, you need I.D. to vote not to mention engage in any function in the political process.

Should I D be required to vote

Liberals in the USA claim that requiring identification to vote is:

-a nefarious right-wing plan to suppress votes among non-whites and the poor
-a non-problem since 'almost nobody' engages in voter fraud
-not required despite requiring ID to do almost anything else relating to government

Project Veritas has once again proven the liberals wrong.

Here are just a few things you need ID to do:

-Visit Eric Holder at the DOJ to arm Mexican drug cartels with illegal guns

-Get welfare benefits for you and all your illegitimate offspring

    -Get a Solyndra government subsidy

-Get a job in the Secret Service to bang hookers in Colombia

-Get a job in the GSA to take taxpayer funded luxury vacations in Vegas

-Get a union job inciting riots in the #Occupy movement

    -Get an Obamacare waiver

-Make illegal donations to the Obama campaign

    -Go through TSA genitalia gropings

-Get a job as Secretary of Defense and fly private jets to your mansion in California

-File a false tax return to qualify for Obama's cabinet

It will help to cut down on voter fraud. When they claim that it is detrimental to poor people, I have to laugh. I sure don't make a lot of money, but I would forgo something else to get the $10 to get a Dept of Motor Vehicles non-driver's Id so I can vote. If it's that important to you, you will find a way. The reason why the democrats don't want it is because then they can "stuff" the ballot boxes. I am not saying the Republicans don't engage in voter fraud also, but right now, it's the Dems.

It is NOT difficult at all ..
To obtain a Valid, legal CITIZEN ID Card ..
No matter what .. even if you do not drive ..
    there's options in every state
(at no cost or very little cost indeed)
When even the blind, deaf, mobility impaired can and DO obtain these forms of ID easily ..
There's absolutely NO impediment for the Able-Bodied to go get them!

SHOW the Photo ID .. prove you are a Citizen and able to vote.
IF you can NOT prove you are a US Citizen .. if you can't e bothered to obtain that ID .. one of two problems is present ..
    a. You are NOT a US Citizen (therefore .. no vote for you)
    b. You are too irresponsible ...
(and guess what .. that's not even an excuse .. since you have to show an ID to sign up for Section 8 housing, get utilities connected, apply for public aid .. apply to get your children into school or pick them up from school, to get a library card, to pick up Signature required mail at the post office .. etc etc etc .. )

I do not believe asking for ID is intrusive or discriminatory. Why would someone be afraid to show their ID? If they are registered to vote, their name is already on the list. So why should verifying that you belong on that list be so bad? The answer can only be that you are not eligible to vote but want to anyway. How illogical can one be? Should we do away with Drivers licenses? Library cards? Social Security numbers? Another phony political issue being used to divide people so that someone can cheat.

Acorn is still very active under different names, and still have the same leaders and radical activists running the different cells. They are still getting millions of our dollars tax dollars, and will still be trying to sway our elections this fall to the far left and radical ideals and values. The mandatory IDs could be a good thing, or a bad thing if the radical left nut-cases get their way in who gets the IDs or how the whole ID program is run. There has to be some strict and enforcable rules made, but so far really don't seem to exist. The whole thing could backfire.
