Look at what allowing people to vote without an id has done for us! obama jet

I don't think the page is big enough to show Pelosi's jet!

Oh, get off it. It's time to grow out of your childish fantasies. Pelosi was elected by valid voters. Join the real world, OK.

The point was that leaders like Pelosi aren't fit to run a hot dog cart and you little lemmings march lockstep behind them.

Why else wouldn't they want to validate the election process?

Keep it simple and make it easy for anyone to vote. If you are a registered voter and show up on the list, that should enough proof. It has always worked in the past. I don't believe that cheating is that big. But making someone get a photo I.D prior to voting, could be a problem, for some people.

Someone that had no transportation, no money, no job. You tell me why it is necessary to have a photo I.D. when there is no evidence voting fraud is a big problem. Do you really believe that a lot of people are voting more than once? There is probably more fraud done by officials that work an election.

if they have no transportation, no money, and no job they can still get a state ID. it IS important to insure no voter fraud. you should be on board with this because either party could commit this fraud. it isn't about voting more than once. it is about people who are not citizens choosing our representatives. wise up.

Seems like a non citizen going to a lot of hassle just to vote. I just don't believe there is enough of that going on to do what the Repubs want to do. It just causes a lot of confusion and unnecessary work for the people it will effect the most. It is a one party issue. I think you understand how this could effect an election. It is designed to discourage a class of voters who are legal. They vote Demo.

Sure there's no evidence of voter fraud. And nobody ever steals from my store when I go home every night and leave it unlocked with the lights on and with cash in the register.

I thought you guys hated big Government ant regulations?
  • Soundstorm Marshal... 2012/07/25 22:12:39
    Soundstorm
Government regulations are mostly nothing but busy work for bureaucrats to harass law abiding citizens and sponge more funding for their agencies.
Election fraud on the other hand is a federal crime that needs to be dealt with by the law.

Election law violations is very rare, If you can quote a number of violations, it means the safeguards that are in place worked. Otherwise how would you know how many violations occurred? There are safeguards, you know. Try being rational for a change.
  • Soundstorm Marshal... 2012/07/26 02:27:12
    Soundstorm
Yeah, and we all know that domestic abuse, drug violations and identity theft are very rare too so we don't have to worry about them. Either that means the safeguards in place work or we've got some lazy law enforcement that's not interested in dealing with the problem. We sure know the Democratic party isn't. Rational.

You comparisons don't wash. These I.D. crap laws the Republican run States are passing. Prevent millions of legal voters from voting. Are you able to even understand that?
  • Soundstorm Marshal... 2012/07/28 02:39:37

How could they be legal voters if they can't prove they're who they say they are? Are you able to explain that?

Bonus question. What does this issue even have to do with race?
  • Marshal... Soundstorm 2012/07/28 12:33:13

Any U.S. citizen is a legal voter. But not all legal voter process a photo I.D. UNDERSTAND?

Because most of the voters this I.D. b.s. effects are the poor, which includes minorities.

Here is a question for you. Why don't you just admit you are having a hard time defending, something that is unnecessary and wrong?
  • Soundstorm Marshal... 2012/07/29 00:37:05
    Soundstorm
And I'm a legally licensed Washington State driver. You think the police would mind if I went for a drive without my license? Knock twice if you've heard this reply over a dozen times and still don't UNDERSTAND.
Isn't it racist and condescending of you to assume minorities are poor and unable to acquire a photo ID for themselves even though most of these poor minorities own cars, cell phones, HD TV and live in 3 bedroom homes? And doesn't this just prove that you raise so many impertinent excuses because it's you who's having a hard time defending the integrity of an electoral system that doesn't verify voters' identities?

ID should had been rule when voting was made law. Now we get a President in office and the only way to assure a defeat in November, is to put hurdles in the way which will stop a lot of people from voting. If Obama loses, ID will no longer be required come 2016
