Only if a good two-parent male & female household cannot be found. The best interests of the child must come first, and statistics show that overall kids do better with a male and female presence.

Absolutely! There are tons of kids that need homes, why deprive them of a potential good home just because some people think it's 'sinful' and 'wrong' to love someone of the same gender.
Same-sex couples could be just as good (or better) parents than straight couples.

Look at these guys. Aren't they an adorable little family?

Is that any reason to deny a couple the chance to raise a child though. Kids can be cruel for any reason. I was made fun of for being poor. should we not allow poor people to have kids because the kids might be made fun of? A lot of same sex couples make better parents than het couples. a lot of het couples accidently get knocked up. Where as same sex couples usually are in a stable place in their relationship, have good paying jobs and make the choice to have a child. (not saying straight couples do not do this as well but just that pretty much all same sex couples do this before having a child).

But "kids are cruel" is no reason to let let a perfectly capable couple from having a child. They can love just as well as any couple and care for a child. A lot of times they will adopt older children whom would be tossed around foster homes and group homes.

Listen kids get teased to a point of counseling for wearing the wrong clothing--if you think it's fair for a child to have to carry/hide the burden of two mommies or two daddies we can just disagree.
Keep in mind I never said they were not capable but I feel it cruel to throw a child to the wolves like this---

I understand that but if that is the only reason then we should stop poor people black people red headed parents from having kids because those kids get teases as well. If fact we should only allow rich white people to have kids but even then they will still get teased.

But having loving parents is better than no parents. A lot of same sex couples will adopt older children that straight couples a lot of times won't.

I watched Anderson Cooper and Ted Nugent talk. It was fantastic stuff--both respected each other and the give and take was friendly but honest. I wish those two could be on every night---I like both of them.
Those two can teach America a lot if they did a show together--I believe conservs would like AC and Libs would like Ted if they got to know them better

What do you mean? My good friend David has two moms. They are the best and he turned out better than I have so far. He is going to medical school at the University of Washington. I don't know what evidence you have

I know several gay couples who have kids and they do a great job on raising them . Folks need to get over it just because people are gay that's what they teach because that's far from the truth .

My brother and his partner he had a son with a previous marriage and there friends had kids . The problem with that 1% is that not all gay couples don't come out because of what people do to there children or I should say the things they say to them .

I think anyone should be allowed to adopt. Even a single playa like me.

But the teaching is where I draw the line. Don't teach it until it is proven.
